Even I can’t chuck stones as far as TwatterX cause don’t do social media. But you can DM him a warningHaven’t the foggiest, but we found him obviously on the shout of and to be fair he has pipped every ITK on this forum. I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt for his accuracy before Blade56 calls him out![]()
They don’t have to get us onboard, they own the club. No sentiment in business.Would be good PR for the new owners to be finally identified then announce a marquee signing or two in the last week of the window. Would be a good way to get people onboard
Right back. That will be the 4th3 more, potentially 4? What positions do people reckon we're looking at?
ST: Cannon
CB: Mepham? (guessing this is if Anel goes)
CDM: assuming we get one in with Peck possibly going out on loan until at least January.
CAM: again, cover for this position and so Marsh can go out on loan.

I’m with you on 3 out of 4. So far linked:LW
ST
RB
CB if Anel goes
I’m with you on 3 out of 4. So far linked:
LW - Sarmiento, Johnstone
ST - Cannon
CB if Anel goes - Mepham
For the third of the targeted ones:
CM or RB - can’t make my mind up. If he gets a really good LW then you could argue Hamer, Arblaster, Souza, Peck, with Peck also covering O’Hare is already enough. I doubt he counts on Coulibaly. Would be deep down welcome a good fee for Souza? The club would, but a manager being a manager he’s still probably insist upon another body.
Perhaps he’d prefer to get a better RB in and send Seriki on a season loan? He’d have Shackleton, Gilchrist and the new boy then for RB.
I’d also think that Marsh would benefit from playing week in week out.
Not sure how Souza/Hamer/Arblaster will feel about being rotational. Can’t help but feel someone bidding for Souza solves this, we have Arblaster and Hamer and then a couple of players happy to be subs.Yeah that's my logic with looking at a specialist left winger.. Hamer then is available to move into CM and gives us the option of playing 4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1 depending on if we think opposition may dominate midfield battle.
Hasn’t Megan gone to Burnley?
So when we buy a winger, what are you doing with Hamer and Arblaster? If Souza does go, he has to be replaced with another CDM.
For me, playing next to him is either Arblaster or Hamer - i don’t see either being a replacement for Souza, nor Peck.

We definitely could do with a marquee for the new fan zone in case it rainsWould be good PR for the new owners to be finally identified then announce a marquee signing or two in the last week of the window. Would be a good way to get people onboard

Agree with that although a CM over a CB. We have potentially 6 for CB (as it stands) where some are sat on the bench on decent money..ST
CB
RB
LW
Would be my bets at where we’re looking to strengthen. We need more depth upfront, we need a player who’s a natural on the left to give us balance rather than asking Hamer to play there and RB looks a bit dodgy atm. CB I’d assume if Anel leaves although really I’d like us to strengthen there anyway.
i think wilder is leaning towards 433 with moore as the focal point and 2 speedy wingers either side of him question then is how do you fit souza arblaster hamer and o'hare in unless souza is soldYeah that's my logic with looking at a specialist left winger.. True but if you’re bringing in a LW and move Hamer inside that gives you O’Hare, Hamer, Blaster, Souza, Peck, Slimane, Shackleton, Coulinaly (if he doesn’t leave) and the phantom Tom Davies all capable of playing in the 3 central spots.Agree with that although a CM over a CB. Anel
Souttar
Robinson
Trusty
Gilchrist

So when we buy a winger, what are you doing with Hamer and Arblaster?
They’re two of our best players. Are you only picking one of them?
I’m in the same boat as you. Not sure how it all fits together though the answer is often “it’s a 46 game season and you need a squad, not an XI”.I genuinely have no idea.
But luckily i’m not the manager…
I don’t know what the plan is if we bring a LW in, as i don’t see how all of:
Souza
Arblaster
Hamer
O’Hare
Rak-Sakyi
New LW
All fit into the side, without either going with 3 at the back or no striker and utilising a false 9.
