Today with only Sharp, Davies and Osborn with any experience on the bench and a first team missing, Baldock or Bogle, Anel, Berge and Mcburnie we sit on top of the table. We have played teams in the top half more than those in the bottom and have played more away than home matches yet people still look for reasons to be negative.
disappointed in that I expect my fellow blades to be better than that, heaven help some of you lot if you have to experience some of the results and performances that me and fellow Older blades have had to endure.

Well we’re top with the injured list

we have shown what we’re capable of when we put out something resembling a full team, that will return when those lads do, we’re just too good for most teams at full strength

Any team in any league will struggle if they have to play 2nd or 3rd string players

Well, when players are tired, not injured, and not even physically tired, but mentally tired and can have a rest from their contracted job whenever somebody brushes past them on a football field, or they feel "stressed" we're always going to struggle.

The frustrating games for me were Birmingham & QPR. I would expected to lose today with a fully fit side, we always lose to stoke away

Having the starters back in the matchday squad will be a boost, AA and Bogle are arguably the first names on the sheet when everyone is fit and we've missed JLT a lot more than we would've hoped.

However if Fleck is an answer I don't think I understand the question.

Fleck is an extra body if nothing else. Seems pretty clear that Doyle can't do 90 at the moment so having a like for like on the bench can only be a good thing. Same with Osborn really. The fact he can play so many positions is his biggest attribute

I'd rather offload about 15 players and buy five better players to replace them and fill the bench with kids

Too many have been stealing a living from the club

Firstly look at who wouldn’t even make the eleven. Then look at who wouldn’t even make the squad.

I don't agree I actually think the squad is fine. A squad is there to plug 3 or 4 gaps at the most, which we can do. Once the squad has to plug 6 or 7 gaps it's not normal. We have the best first 11 in the league and probably the best first 11 plus 3 where needed.

You might be right actually, the team from the first few games was good, beyond that we aren’t great.

Considering we've only recently gone though a "blip", we have now won 7 of the last 9 in all comps which is pretty good going

Yes it’s amazing isn’t it. Football is a very short-term game these days. People who over-react just don’t seem to learn. Lose/draw a couple of games and it’s a catastrophe. Change the team/bring young uns in/ swap manager/ sack the board/sign players and so on. Embarrassing.
