Did anyone else sit there for about 25 minutes before Henderson scored thinking that the players did not seem to know what they were dong?

It was just is if Blackwell had said them at HT "Erm right lads, The Kop seem to have come to the conclusion that they collectively know more about managing you lot more than me, so just go out there and listen to the shouts and chants coming off there and see where it gets you, if it goes a little quiet then just make it up and Me, Sam and Gary will just stand and see how it goes."

It was ridiculous how inept the performance was for a team that up until Coventry was dong so well, I can not see what has happened.

Also Cresswell is a joke signing.

its probably for the best most "united" fans on here sound like they are looking for an excuse to stop going

so if the team dont get promoted hopefully they will piss off to b&q every saturday afternoon and hand the lane back to proper blades who get behind the team no matter what

Little had a huge influence when he came on. Not only did his deliveries (mostly) cause havoc, but he was calm on the ball, used it intelligently and seemed to be directing others. A prime example was just before their third, when he drifted inside, drew two men towards him and held it for an age before Walker got the hint and overlapped. Little played it, Walker got round the back and crossed to Evans who should have buried it.

Harper should really be able to do that job too, just taking hold of it and calming it down.

Look I'm no booer, in fact i think the idiots who were calling Blackwell out last night should be banned from BL.

I just don't see what's gone wrong in the last few weeks?

Little Should get a chance on Saturday but what people have to remember is that Cotterill is a quality player but he needs options every now and again, the players can't just expect him to beat both his markers and get a cross in every time. If he could he wouldn't be playing for Sheffield United.

As for proper blades that get behind the team no matter what, thats just mental.

Criticism is the key to improvement.

Not quite Sarbs, I sat there for 90 minutes last night thinking the players don't know what they are doing.

Is this Pericard trial a wind-up?

"but what people have to remember is that Cotterill is a quality player"

You're having a Giraffe! He's shite and offers absolutely nothing. One decent cross from him last night....... just before being subbed.

I've stated in another posting that I've never known a winger who can slow down a game like he does and I got the impression last night that his team mates don't trust him with the ball!

problem is though we have got the players who can play and want to play football. Unfortunately we don't have a manager that can practice football in training with the players. Do you not find it funny how all these quality players come to the lane and don't look at all like the players we've seen on tv or against us. (Howard, Harper, Evans, etc etc etc) hoof ball is all he knows

Exactly!! Bramall Lane is a void for talented footballers, Enter as a quality ball playing footballer, leave as a shadow of your former self with the call of "hoof it" reverberating around your ears!

The on loan Cotterill we fondly remember has been replaced by a confidence-less stranger with the weight of 5000 moaners on his back.
