Should be a near sell-out for this one so if anyone is considering going who hasn't already got tickets, get them now.

Tonight's result could make Swansea extremely important.

Also, we will be going back to the Golden Lion after the match to watch the Birmingham game on the TV. Open offer to all those who aren't brave enough to watch it alone to come and join us :D

You won't be saying good good when I'm sick all over the table due to nerves ;)

Starting Xl suggestions?

Kenny
Naughton Morgan Killa Naysmith
Halford Monty Hendrie Cotts
Henderson Lupoli

Bench Ward, Beattie and God knows who else.

All the Blues forums are ablaze with who we're going to buy in the summer (Kilgallon?) and I can't help thinking it's all very premature. As someone said here on another thread we're not playing well (can't score goals with the best forward line outside the Premiership) and it wouldn't surprise me if we didn't beat Preston on Saturday.

I think you have to believe two wins will get you there; a draw for us on Saturday and a draw in our final game at Reading wouldn't be enough. I think our cause will be better served by Swansea than Birmingham City on Saturday, and sadly I will have to become Welsh for the weekend.

Now where did I see those sheep .................

Not to be disrespecful, but I'd have thought there'd be better teams in for Killa if we don't get promoted. Birmingham City aren't as big time as some of their fans would like to think.

Come on you Preston! Also, Reading might have some confidence back now after being Derby... ;)

Early team news.....

Naysmith (knee) out v Swansea so Naughton could switch to left-back,
with Walker & Sun Jihai in contention at right-back. Howard is banned

:)

3 points today for the Blades.........................

and hear this Mr Styles will gi us a break ! :D

I'm confidently predicting that SF will exceed 3 pints of beer before the game, and probably countless after. There endeth my predictions for today.

I'd rather Naughton stayed at right back and Sun went in on the left...

Evening Gents. Never let it be said that I am a coward :o

I did think we might screw things up and indeed it has come to pass. The second goal is a disaster; I might have fancied out chances at Reading if they had nothing to play for but if they win on Monday (as they surely will) then they will be up for it.

Yours to lose. I'm relying on you.

I'm sorry kind sir, but I've never been to a losing game all season, and I'm travelling away to palace...so like i've said for the last few months...I sure as shit don't plan on going to a losing game for the last game either! :D

I will give you a kiss autumn if we go up. haha!

Fair play to you fella, though had Cameron Jerome not turned into Ade Akinbadbuy late on, it could have been so different for you.

I'm not sure who to support on Monday. Part of me says Norwich to bring it down to us two, and part of me says Reading so that you and they have summat to play for come Sunday.

Sod it. All we can do is beat Palace and hope, and all the best to you mate.

Just a quick note to say how much I enjoyed myself in the Lion before the match - particularly Mousey's parking escapades. Cheers all :)
