They are purchased, as are two for SEB :)

Any London Blades got suggestions for things to do on the day?

Think we're heading down in the Foxymobile quite early... parking up somewhere and choobing it into central London. If anyone knows anywhere near Ashburton Grove we could park up and leave the car safely all day, that'd be extremely handy.

Prematch, we tend to head for the Drayton Arms which is opposite that concrete A R S E N A L thing and I don't see why this time should be any different.

Hope to see all you Southern softies there :D
 
Are there still some tickets left? I'm close to being able to go..... (you watch us sell out before I can...)

Haven't got the tickets on me... will try and remember to look later and let you know.

I doubt he'll get close though, as they're selling them in strips (as with all away tickets).

I assume all the whingers who are done with watching the Blades won't be coming to the Emirates? A 100% nailed on defeat :D
 
Get the entire team to make a wall around the net and keep it at 0-0. :)
 
Without going gung-ho, a result (i.e. not getting battered) down at the Emirates could provide the team with a much needed boost and a bit of confidence to take into the league.

If the team are guilty of taking the last few teams lightly, then there's no chance they're going to do it down there.

It should be a good day out and I hope the fans are up for it too. Just hope we don't get battered :D

how many tkts av we sold? by the way for anyone livin in foreign parts the game is live on five live. pissed off myself as i'm working and got man utd v m'boro and swansea v cardiff on in the bar,but be keepin up it with the gillette soccer on the other sky channel,the sound goes over everytime the report comes on if we're doin ok.!!!!!!!!! utb,have a great day out you lot.utb

We got the very last 5 tickets by all accounts. All good.

Then realised we're pissed at United and want to return them lol

Unless you got them very late in the day, there was a geezer in taking the glory with a single ticket just before 5pm :D

I'd mix it up a bit myself, not a "reserve" team, but not the team we started on Saturday.

Definitely give Speed a rest, he looks tired and off form at the moment.
 
Don't want to put a dampener on the game but Wenger is playing the youngest side every to play for Arsenal including at least one 16 yr old - but he still thinks they will be good enough to beat us. :(

I wonder how much their young team cost though. They paid £20million for Walcott didn't they?

Can't be arsed to work it out tonight :) If anyone can be arsed, I bet it'd make interesting reading.

Walcott signed for Arsenal in January 2006 for an initial fee of £5m rising to a possible £12m based on appearances for club and country, making him the most expensive 16 year old in the history of British football.

In April 2008, financial pressures forced Southampton to accept an early settlement which means that Walcott will actually have cost Arsenal around £9.1 million.
 
I don't care whether we win, lose or draw today.

We're setting off at 9am for a day around London before going to watch my team at one of the best stadia in the country.

I'm all giddy dancing around and waiting for my bacon butties to cook. (Hehehe... say "beer can" and it sounds like a Jamaican saying bacon).
