That looks like one of the uniforms that the cannon fodder always wore in Star Trek. When the poor sods beamed down to a planet, you could tell they were never coming back cos they wore different coloured shirts to the rest of the important bods. This must be the 'Shoot/Eat/Vaporise Me Not Him' shade of Federation Purple...
