Bullen, hardly proven himself as a class defender at the piggery and at 34, not a spring chicken either. We need to look at defence but we do need some younger lads coming through.

One of the better defenders we should look at is the Shittu guy, he's been doing well and been getting some great reviews of late. We should not go for an aging defender, we should be looking to strenthen the squad with a view to the prem, we need to build the team not just add to it.
Oh, and Trundle, he looks good in his division, but can he hack it in our lg, plus he's getting on a bit now!!

i'd buy darren purse from cardiff for the CB, quality defender IMO,
Not sure about Lee Trundle, he could be one of those players who can make the step up easily or could b shite, i think he's worth the risk, he scored plenty in league 2 and now he's scoring plenty in league 1.

Trundle has great off the ball techniques and dribbling, but even if we signed him, I'd be still sticking to Kabba, Webber, Shipperley and Pericard (if we get him) before Trundle.The One said:

yer i agree, but if we did buy him he should know that he'd be down the pecking order, but if he got his chance he'll be there to impress.
Bullen! If we are looking at centre halfs it needs to be someone with pace and who are young, as we have 'steady' centre backs with Short and Morgan.
Trundle is no better then what we have already.
And obviously i would welcome the signing of Brown!
