apparently that's how many ticket's we sold last for last night, but in my opinion that must mean half of the people that bought tickets didn't show up! there were massive gaps everywhere!

I don't know how it looked from the front or on TV... but we were up near the back (oxygen required en route) and it was fairly packed up there.

People elsewhere are complaining they "couldn't get tickets" but my eyes must have deceived me when I saw an "away ticket sales" window right by the away end.

I understand some people don't like spontaneity... but I know at least some people on here decided to go to QPR for a night game at 3pm one afternoon :D If that's not leaving it late, nothing is.

i was about a quarter of the way up and there were loads of empty seats, not too bothered anyway i thought the supporter's that did travel were immense yet again, last night was actually my first playoff game and i'd like to thank everyone for making it memorable

Indeed the Blades who were there did us proud as usual!

:)

Wasn't bad was it. The kid in front of me with his mother, must've been 13 or 14, absolutely shit himself :D

He kept turning round when Ross was on a foul-mouthed tirade too.

I'm assuming he hadn't been to many away matches before... but what a one to go to :D

As a very little girl, it was sometimes very intimidating being part of such a big crowd... especially when standing... but amazing fun all the same.

yeah i also went slightly mental lol,not celebrated like that since jamie wards winner at southampton were me and a mate ended up rolling about in the segragation (spelling?)

Yeah he did to me and my Dad aswell. I'm sure he covered his ears at one point when we were singing, bless him.

He knows what big away matches are all about now!

I never went to that many away matches until I left school, probably about 10, but I never felt that intimidated. I loved it, but sitting with my family on the Kop probably got me used to it!

Ha, I remember my celebration that day. Was sat on the 2nd row from the back, and ended up hung over the hoardings at the front :D

Got to love celebrations.

Don't want to sound like an old fart but.....

When we had a real kop (standing) a goal was celebrated in style. Usually ending 30 yards from where you started!

:D:D:D

Ah i've heard about the surge. My dad reckons you'd have to duck really quick if near one of the barriers to avoid being crushed :p

yep, I've been crushed a few times on a barrier, and once as a kid was flung forward and chinned an old bloke in front of me with my wayward arm....:)

At the risk of sounding like an old git, you don't know what you missed being in a packed standing throng, celebrating a goal.

UTB

Aye, me and Brunty like the game where you decided to go a few hours before.

MK Dons we decided to go to at about 1.30 in the afternoon.
Charlton was another where we decided at 12 (night game again obviously)
Barnsley for me this season, I decided to go about 1.30 haha

I was sat at the back right behind the goal and there were loads of seats behind me but they have been cordoned off.

Many, many years ago on the back of the old proper kop, there used to be a little platform right at the back for the police to stand and look down upon everyone who stood on the kop. Somebody over the years must have took in a spray can and scrawled "pigs only" on it.
Anyway, one day a fan decided to stand on it to gain a better view, the copper on duty that day eventually arrived and said to the said fan "can't you read?"
Who said they don't have a sense of humour?:swfc:
Made me laugh

Me and wolvesblade still do that... we bounce down the steps, broke our record this season too, hoping to break it again on Monday night.

Was loads of empty seats by us, we moved and virtually had an empty row to ourselves, plenty of room to bounce around and didnt do my legs any injuries like i did at Reading.

What a celebration it was!

1st away match for me this season (except pigs at the sty) and it was brilliant.

Its always good when you lose your voice.

I was sat at the back of the stand just infront of the camera behind the goal, so when we scored about 20 people jumped into the empty row and ran towards the PNE fans to let them know that we did, actually, score :D

You were very close to us then.

Didn't you notice a very good looking bloke to your left!

I couldnt get a hold of a ticket rang united office on the day and they said non available didnt tell me about the ones on the gate :(

Can't recall seeing any off the above.

I was sat here, wearing an open black jacket, if that helps.
