2-0 win and we didn’t play that well

Didn't play badly at all, i think we just made "hard work" of beating a very poor Reading team. It was all about that final delivery, we got one right and there was Billy, as per. You could see first half that was the only thing stopping us getting all 3 points.

I think first half we didn't play our usual possession type game because we didnt have duffy and Sharp and secondly because their game plan seemed to be about letting us over commit and use their pace to get in behind us ,when you think about it like that we actually took the Sting out of their game by going from.front to back early and didn't let them grow in confidence

When they saw Duffy coming off the bench ,( who was described by talksport commentator Neil Redfearn as the best attacking player in the division last week )their hearts must have sank

They had a lot of pace and power but no heart, they looked like no one wanted to take responsibility, lacked heart

Good manager could sort that out ,good win today it's always hard when your up against a side trying to stop you winning rather than having a go at winning themselves

Over all they had little appetite for it, but in games like that it's worth keeping an eye out for those players who still put themselves forwards, I thought there were a couple, the number 40-odd, young lad, showed some decent skill, and the defender who cleared Bash's header/shoulder off the line. Just doing his job, but "If you can keep your head" and all that.

The Reading side who come to the Lane and won 2-1 in the prem were excellent, but lets be fair that Reading XI were piss poor...Still, the old cliché, that you can only beat what's in front of you, was spot on.

They are a poor team looked utterly toothless up front but we weren’t too clever the first 45 either
It took the introduction of Duffy & Billy though to convert that into a win , thought Duffy without been spectacular linked things up very well in the last third & gave them something extra to think sbout .
i was beginning to think it had 0-0 written all over it and that we’d squandered 3 points until our poacher did his bit
A scruffy win , but a win all the same .. bring on Friday night
