Wilder’s interview was so funny I was in tears watching it.

Love how he openly questions how Hendo got MOM when all he’s had to do is stand there and make a few saves. “That’s what he’s there for.”

Seems to be doing a superb job at keeping Hendo’s feet on the ground, but also just so down to earth and looks likes he’s enjoying every second of it.

Chris Wilder is a huge breathe of fresh air to the stereotypical Premier League manager we see interviewed on MOTD.

That also applies to the style of football he's brought to the top flight.

It also applies to his honesty on the pitch. Avoiding the dives, theatricals etc.

Just hope our fans don't go down the stereotypical Premier league route of posting on here questioning 'Just how good are we?'

Wilder and Klopp.

Two unique and different characters, but both re-writing the rule book in their own moulds, earning the respect of the world through their hard work and honesty.

Only two managers in football presently I could sit and listen to for hours and hours, not just regards football but their values and beliefs in general.
Clough Snr was another. Fergie too....both had a side not often seen which I can see in Klopp and Wilder too.

Luckily I doubt Wilder ticks the boxes of an international manager, because someone like him or Klopp is what’s needed to transform the game here from top to bottom

Yep...or the man who controlled a club of that size from top to bottom in the best period of its history. Created players. Built sides time and again. Helped younger and inexperienced managers with advice and guidance.....plenty he did which angered me at the time like the Fergie time, or the intimidation of refs and opponents but he was doing all he could for his club.

And I put Wilder in a similar bracket. Old school with good personal values.

It was the "He hasn't had to run around for 90 minutes" that I liked.

I think it was half-joking and half a nod to several other players who could've taken MOTM today.
All members of the goalkeepers’ union are familiar with this ‘they don’t have to run around’ nonsense. We appreciate when a keeper’s done a great job.
(As others have said, I think Wilder seems to be just right for the lad’s education. The results so far are plain to see)

Successful football manager of 20 years man managing.

It's something that seems completely alien to some in the media.

Then again through my 30 years of working life its hardly surprising based on the dearth of man management skills I've witnessed.

Wilder is going to build our club in very much the same way that Shankly built Liverpool
