Saturday at 8pm, the EFL’s new and even more inconvenient TV slot they shoehorned in last season.

Now what gets me about this is I am sure the Police have in the past vetoed games kicking off on a Saturday evening under public safety concerns, citing the, for once not unreasonable, reasons of them having enough problems to deal with on a Saturday evening elsewhere.

Sky it seem now have a final say over local public safety matters then?

Going to be on Sky loads like our promotion season if we’re challenging so I’d get used to it I’m afraid… more money in the bank so not complaining.

I was sat in Centre Court yesterday. Fairly bizarre. Only half the seats are occupied. But, it's "the bottom half". All seats in the lower part of the bowl are sold & sat in. But, the upper part of the bowl (which is more difficult to see on TV) is left completely empty.
(Also worth pointing out it was either a) recent negative lateral flow test reported through the government system or b) NHS App showing double vaccination (the Vax Passport) PLUS photo ID to get through the gate.)
Not having a dig at you, but what is the point in having 50% capacity, but all been sat next to each other in the lower half? That would be like Bramall Lane been set to 50% capacity and making the kop and John Street stand the only stands open and cramming people into those two stands.

I used the phrase "fairly bizarre" deliberately.....

Just like the crowds in India for the cricket, shut half the stands then sit on each other’s knee in the remaining stands.
then use over crowded trains to get to / from the venue
