or saw smiles on their faces. One of the main reasons of the rise was team spirit, including the manager, sum better than the parts etc. Losing JOC was a massive blow, Lundstrop's situation didn't help I'm sure and since then, it seems as though the lifeblood of the whole machine has not just dribbled away, but completely drained.

Slav was maybe the right place but definitely the wrong time, as when Moyes took over at ManU. Not sure anyone could have turned us around in the last few months and nothing has changed now so with that in mind, maybe Hecky is the safest pair of hands right now. Just don't see what we do going forwards as the problem still remains, we need a rebuild and sacking Slav doesn't send out 'come and get me' messages to other managers, certainly not the ones we need i.e. not another merry-go-round manager.
