Derek Geary and Matthew Spring both look set to play when United's second string host Port Vale at Sheffield FC tonight (Wednesday, kick-off 7pm).

Spring will be hoping to gain some valuable action after fully recovering from the ankle that has sidelined him recently, whilst Geary, overlooked so far, will also be looking to impress the Blades management team.

Nicky Law, scorer of four goals in United's emphatic 5-0 win at Lincoln City last time out, should feature along with former Leeds left-back Ian Harte.

Blades squad: Annerson, Geary, Harte, Travis, Walker, Lowton, Wedgbury, Spring, S-Latef, Law, K.Quinn, Chapman, Ho Lee, Tahar, Adams, James

Think we'll be moseying on down to Dronfield tonight seeing as we missed the last home reserve game to watch the first team play Port Vale in the Cup.

No Maxime... he's still at Mansfield

Is Chanot anygood?

He seems to get high attention for a reserve player.

Only on this forum though ;)

Is Chanot anygood?

Yeah... if you can get past the innuendo, there's a thread HERE :D

The reserves will be hoping for their third win on the bounce... and we're currently second in the table behind Shrewsbury on goal difference.

Ended up not going last night thanks to work emergencies :(

Good to see they won again though.

Good to see Nicky Law bag a goal again too.
