They have a huge squad after the January window and don't have that many injuries. Whereas we have about 14/15 fit available first team players at the moment. So yeah we'll catch them cunts no problem.
weve got 14 fixtures over 10 weeks. only 5 games in march
arent they supposed to be athletes
theres 2 whole weeks without a game in march

we've been hit by injuries all season
we played Blackburn with some major changes

its all part of the game

Earlier, I posted Graph 1 below in the other "14 Games to Go" thread!

Graph 1 includes a direct comparison of Our Points v Bournemouth Points along with an Autos Certain line.

The Autos Certain line is a benchmark set of results that I created when Hecky took over that would get us to 90 points. I thought it was totally unrealistic, but amazingly we've run right on top of it so far. No team this century has got 90 points in this Division and not gone up automatically. (Mind you, somebody did in League 1 in 2012!)

Recently Bournemouth were on a real slump, but unfortunately have picked up and won their last 3.

After we lost Game 17 at Blackburn we had 19 points - Bournemouth had 40 points after their Game 17 - so we were 21 behind them.

After 30 Games we had 47 points and Bournemouth have 58 - so after 30 games we have closed the gap by 10 points in 13 games - and we have won both our games since.

After we play them towards the end of the season they have 7 more games now, with their rearranged ones - Boro, Coventry, Fulham, Swansea, Blackburn, Forest and Millwall - so if we can get some pressure on them and keep it there by beating them then virtually all of those games are losable if the pressure is on.

More fun than looking at possible survival last year!

Also, I always post a few graphs after every home game - I think the most interesting is the Hecky v Slav's Fulham 17/18 graph - when Fulham had a bad start, finished 3rd on 88 points and won the playoffs, Our whole season runs almost identically to Fulham 17/18 so far. I've stuck that below as Graph 2 just to show that it is possible to maintain a run like this to the end of the season.

...With Hecky, Jack and Stuart McCall

Fulham should be home and dry by then. Hopefully their players' thoughts will be on the beach.
This makes me think of Bristol City's League One promotion season. Home and dry, and with the players' thoughts on the beach they walloped Bradford 6-0 away, and then netting 8 v Walsall on the last day of the season...

I think the Blackburn game has taken a lot out of us and our injuries are already mounting up and I expect this to contribute.
A really tough set of fixtures in the next fortnight. I'd be delighted with 5 points and no home losses to our play-off rivals.
We have a week off until Forest and an international break later, so there will be rest periods.
Many teams are struggling with injuries and suspensions

I'm going to try and not bother worrying like in previous seasons - just going to enjoy the journey and we finish where we finish.

I'm just glad Hecky has turned this season around and made it interesting as I really didn't see it coming a few months ago.
I'm genuinely 'not worried' . If we've got the Blades back and enjoying games, win some lose some, and we are pushing best we can then great.
With injuries., Let's just wait and see too.
Maybe because last visit to the prem was such a fingers burnt experience I don't know.

A lot of "six-pointers" in that list, but I'm actually relishing the chance to take points off our rivals rather than wishing we had an easier run-in. I actually back us and I've not felt this way for while. It's like my mom used to say when there was a big spider in the room..."they're more scared of you, than you are of them". Be scared little spiders!
Never fully understood the term six pointer. It gives the impression that you receive 6 pts if you win which, to my understanding, is completely false. If someone could clarify then we can put this one to bed.

Not sure if you’re on the wind up here but it’s not that difficult:

Hard to explain but I was far more anxious during the run in of the last promotion season. Think it was a mix of being desperate to see us go up and the close fight with Leeds (was living/ working there at the time!). When we won games, it was more of a relief than anything else.

This season I'll just relax and see what happens. You're right about last season's PL experience - whilst promotion would obviously be great, I'm not exactly desperate for it to happen... Not at this stage anyway.

both Bradford and Walsall finished mid table and were on the beach in april
Fulham could play with either freedom or Peroni hangovers

If someone had said during our run of games in Feb you may lose just 1 game every single one of us would have taken that ,
I’d take 5-7 points from next 3 games
