It don't get much better than that........... is it really 10 years ?

Damn I was just about to make that same post! It most certainly was 10urs ago today. I'll never have a birthday like it again. Phil Jagielka provided me with the best present I could ever receive. What an amazing night that was, a night I'll never, ever forget.

Never, in all my football supporting career, have I ever felt like that. The guys at the front of john street witnessed a miracle as I jumped from my wheelchair with a broken leg and cast from bollocks to ankle, and shot off towards the kop like Usain Bolt.

The forest game of the same season come close but that was something else.

10 years, doesn't seem like it. Only matched by the Forest Game the same season, for the best atmosphere ever. I just remember when they indicated the added time minutes that a roar went up, as though the crowd sensed that something special was about to happen, Great Night, made even better by the fact I had brought some customers to the game, who were Leeds fans, their faces were a picture.. and even though there were customers I still had to take the P out of them.

Every time I see our winner I think that the ref is going to blow for a foul by The Chief - probably a good job that the L***s player jumped out of the way!

Make up your own punchlines.

Well done Petey, nice clippage, not much of a night for me I'm afraid, I much prefer those seasons when we get beat in the first round so we don't have to bother with those cup run thingy's that everyone despises so.

Memries

I remember going into the Nelly for a pre-match gargle and being first out of my mates there, ordering a pint and having everyone turn round and glare at me. Worked out my accent was the problem, so shuffled off outside until backup arrived.

Also remember dropping LS5 off in Leeds City Centre after the match and dog-legging my trip back home to go via Bellend. As luck would have it, the coaches were just disgorging the masses onto Lowfields Road at the same time Rad Sheff was replaying the comms. Windows down, full vol, a cheery GET IN from me and off up Wesley Street to a background of abuse.

Sometimes, just sometimes, all your planets line up.

That goal would've been SO much sweeter if the lower Bramall Lane end was packed full with Weeds and watchin their despairing mugs as the ball flew past Robinson!!:D

I think that is when the L**ds fans got a little angry and started ripping out seats.

A habit of theirs still to this day.

Probably one of the best victory's over the scum.

Say what you like about Paul Walker but his commentary for the Jags goal (00:56) is brilliant.
He doesn't sound much like a "biased against the Blades pig fan" to me.

What a fantastic season, I don't think we'll ever top it....

But he sounds like that even for a 91st minute Washing Machine Johnno Paint consolation tap-in in a 4-1 defeat on a wet Tuesday night in Yeovil.

Totally agree.

I think this is the most memorable night in my life as a Blade (at the lane at least). Tops the Blackburn and Coventry FA cup wins.

On a side note - I even think it topped the 4-3 v Forest, but thats probably because I watched it in a deserted Irish pub in Koln with the sound off and a very, very sick Forest fan next to me. Never met him before, nor seen him since. Thats what I love about football

One of the best nights I've ever experienced at the lane. Was in my teens at the time. Can't believe it was 10 years ago!

I remember going mad when Jags scored but it was utter delerium when Nuddy popped the winner in. I run up and down the John Street stand like a lunatic. You couldn't have written the drama that unfolded that season. All it missed was the fairytale ending.
