Exactly, until Wilder came in we certainly had an attitude throughout the club that we accepted mediocrity...

We may still fall short this season, but at least it might hurt the players to fail.

The attitude of serial failure and accepting defeat was never more illustrated by our George the Cats (Long) comments at the end of last season when he yapped on about us not having to change much as we had a terrific bunch of lads and a great spirit. The fact that this terrific bunch of lads were a fkin bunch of losing spineless tossers was irrelevant apparently. If ever there was a time to keep your gob shut and hope that you werent kicked out of the door after the shambles of last season it was this. Luckily Wilder didnt quite agree with young George and binned most of the gutless ones.

Heard that too. Its about time that we had a bit of belief again. It always made me spit venom when i used to hear some ex blades players talking about trying to reach the play offs. Id have fined the pricks if i had been the manager if i had heard that. Fuk sake have some balls and think that you should achieve automatic or even go up as champions. You might fall short but at least aim for the jackpot. As Connery said in 'the Rock', 'your bes(h)t...dont whine to me about doing your bes(h)t...los(h)ers(h) always(h) go on about doing their bes(h)t....the winners(h) go home and **** the prom queen'. About time we entertained the young lady for a fumble i say.

It's an okay bet, but I'm not going to tie up the kind of money that would make a 10/11 bet worth it for that long. It's not that great a price by any means.
