Beg to differ on that, I have seen him make several runs in wide channels when being played there but the ball has gone elsewhere. It might have taken a nick but took his goal well. He isn't a player designed to link up the play, when he was playing with Bamford, he had the chance 1 on 1 with the keeper which needed to be saved and he scored. playing him out of position or not in a 2 up top situation you aren't going to get anything out of him. The question is if you did sell him who would you replace him with?

I'm sure they'll be a few sides who want Cannon in January. Hopefully he shows us what he can do and then becomes a success. If he does go we'll need a replacement obviously. I think I a lot depends on what happens over the next few weeks. If we pick up and push towards the play offs then we may well be able to attract a decent forward on loan but if Cannon does well I suspect he'll stay.

I wouldn’t have signed him to begin with, however if we got rid and opted to stick with one already here, it’d be Oné, I’ll await the criticism on that, but for what he offers, I’d rather we got a similar output on a young player with a much higher ceiling.

I can see One being that void filler if you like, the problem we have at the moment is do we gamble on an unknown like him as although we all want him to do well, all we really know is his pre-season performances and U21s which aren't exactly a true reflection of most of the opposition we are up against. We have to have the hope he comes good or for example if we returned Godfrey rather than getting in another RB. Now I think Seriki has done enough to nail his place in the team, and be on the look out for a striker on loan if Cannon was to go to see the season out?

We could also be looking at losing Hamer or at least having teams sniffing, depending on who it is, there could be a bit of negotiation on how he is replaced firstly Hamer is replaced, If its Leeds coming in, we want cash plus one of their strikers similar with one of the Dutch sides. Example with Leeds Gnonto plus cash could be a deal or similar.

Ancient, that's the hope as good strikers aren't easy to find and they are very expensive to sign.

yes agree and i think chris will bring a target man in come january ryan one needs to go on loan to a top end league 1 club 5 strikers might seem too many but i dont think so we have to have options up front from the bench
