There’s been a lot of talk about this lad, as he excelled at every academy level since joining the club at a young age before being given a professional contract last season, aged just 17. He finally got into the first team towards the end of last season, setting up a goal for Dave Kitson in a comfortable home win against Colchester. Unfortunately for him and United, he suffered a cruciate ligament injury playing for Italy’s U18s and is due back in September 2013.
