Sheffield United vs Stoke City

Good day for him today when it looked like it was going south. Both subs scored. After match interview is spot on. He sees the game well. It doesnt always work but always seems positive. I do think he needs to change the forwards round a bit though, Sharp is just not offering enough goal threat at this level.

The big fat Frenchman gives us something else, explosive pace and great strength. They couldn't cope with him. Good finish for the goal. Looks about 3 stone overweight though.

Worked hard but easily marshalled by the Stoke defence. Missed a good chance with the diving header. Never hid and actually played a key role in the goals. Unbelievable work ethic and never ever stops trying. Leader.

Great bounceback after some horrendous early season showings. Amazing touches on the first goal and great finish on the second. Also won a defensive header. Got to be pushing Osborn or N'Diaye for a start

Came on and kept it simple but is even weaker than Fleck and Norwood.

never once got past his lumbering full back and just did the silly little triangles in the corner instead of committing the defence.. Never stopped working but never looked like impacting the game.

His poorest game in a Blades shirt I felt. Kept giving the ball away through slack passing. Should have won us a pen, but Stroud cheated. Faded badly

Not much came off for him but he kept plugging away. Good tracking back on our first goal.

usual Fleck, some decent stuff but we lost the battle in midfield for large parts of the second half. At least got on the ball and tried to drive us forward, hence he gets one more than Norwood

Usual Norwood. some good pings, some awful passes into no-where and some outright wasteful passes. Truly woeful on their goal, embarrasing for him.

Truly awful in the first half - 4/10. Lost the ball repeatedly and failed to block the cross onn a couple of occasions. Improved offensively in the second half and good assist for Dids goals gets him back up to par, but still looked rattled defensively as all the danger was down his side. Must improve.

Headed off the line in the first half and probably the best out of a fairly sloppy defensive showing. Calm on the ball.

Really poor on their goal, incredibly weak. Looks great for Ireland and then Bambi on ice for us. Why? Must improve a lot.

Did ok, not great. Fizzed a superb cross over second half and looked fairly dangerous. Probably a slight step up on Baldock.

A bit slow on their goal but no other bloopers, getting better I feel
