Higdon's legs have gone, if he is going to be used at all it's as a battering ram in the last ten minutes when it's shit or bust he should never start for us.

McNulty showed the value of movement up front, he created openings and caused their defence problems all the second half. Higdon is so immobile he might as well be mounted on a plinth.
Higdon looked rusty and not match fit, it wasn't unsurprising that he didn't have a great match but some of his link up play was good. Scougall and Doyle were both poor. Both lost possession quite a few times under little or no pressure in the middle of the park.
Playing two up front, once McNulty came on, made a big difference. I thought Higdon actually laid the ball off well this game. Flynn had a good game, and it was great to see Cuvelier again, still looks classy, with pace and a great set up for the third goal
like to see Reed getting a start instead of Scougall, it's noe good hiding Reed away thinking the big clubs won't notice a gem like him, everyone gets watched. Let's play hime whilst we still can.
