Poor substitution lost us the game. Too pedestrian first half, made it easy for Millwall. Stevens needs a rest for the summer and to come back charged up next season.
Too much slow passing first half. Players need to do more than pass it sideways. Duffy’s ability to run at players and take them on helped improve us second half. Thought we edged it overall.
Had wilder started with a proper striker rather than Brookes in a false position for him, we would have won. So many times in the first half we were short in the box because Brookes didn't gamble.......and I'm not blaming Brookes in any way.
If people don't make runs then the defence has no option but to pass it along the line. See first half of Barnsley game - our midfield and strikers were doing a very good imitation of statues, or wheely bins without the wheels. Don't know what people expect.
First Half Too much slow passing , Wasted opportunity to put a strangle hold on the Game. Hope to god Fleck, Duffy, Basham stop for another season. Be nothing without their movement.
