Sheffield United vs Chelsea

Some really baffling/wrong decisions from wilder tonight that gifted Chelsea that game. Annoying was:
- Kean Bryan at LCB
- Not filling the bench
- No Didz
- No number 10
- Changing the structure of the team thta finished well against West Brom
- Only pushing Brewster on for 5 minutes (why bother it aint fair on anyone!)
- There was a real lack of intensity and we looked a beaten bunch very early in the game like we did against Spurs.
Wilder and his team has got to do a LOT better against Bristol City to salvage something from this season...

He only got 5 minutes and did ok with a couple of shots and the odd good pass.

Didn't really manage to impact the game as he would have liked.

I actually thought he did alright on balance. Set a few decent chances up with good through balls and link up play but it was very patchy and at times he looked anonymous as our defence and goalie blasted the ball up in the air towards him.

Came on and got involved. Couple of snaps shots etc. Provided a central focal point

Just a bit ineffectual. Should have got the good early chance on target at least. Needs more composure in finishing and also in craft of when to run in and occupy defenders etc

Our best player by a distance. Worked hard in attack and defence, drove us forward and tried to create

Really struggled with their press. Gave the ball away too much. Still too much pointing and not enough running and tackling. Played a key role in gifting them their ultra soft first goal.

Lackadaisical on their first goal. Pedestrian for the rest of the game and frustrtaingly wasted some good chances at the end to cross or shoot with others better placed. Looked a bit distracted and probably needs a long rest from the team

Some nice little attacking runs in the second half and the odd decent cross in, but still looks very lightweight in defence. Doesnt get tight enought to the attacker and doesnt do enough to tackle or block the cross. got a bit of support from Fleck who I felt did cover him ok. A work in progress for sure defensively.

Really sloppy on the second goal - gifting them a goal at an awful time. It looks like he just doesnt have the physicality or concentration needed to play centre back at this level.

Probably our best defender although we didnt look solid and we were at full stretch most of the match. A few decent but last ditch tackles and blocks.

Struggled with Werner's movement and pace. Let Werner get goal side too easy on the first goal. Not enough bullocking runs forward either. Others have said he looked tired and I'm inclined to agree.

Decent going forward in the second half. Very defensive in the first half and couldnt cope with Chelseas running at him. Could have done with more support from his midfielder or centre back

A few heart stopping moments, including a wander in the first half that Bash bailed him out of. A bit unlucky on the penalty got dumped in it by Bryan. Still not calm or confident enough but not getting good enough protection from hims defence.
