Well........it was another point. 8/10 for effort and persistence [from some], 4/10 for everything else. Good performances from Basham, Freeman, Doyle and Scougall. Brayford was really out of sorts and poorest game I've seen Reed play. McNulty looked like a player who hasn't had a competitive game for a while. Still, as I say it's another 1 pt towards confirming our place in the 'play offs'.
No one came out of this smelling of roses. Midfield ineffective and the pairing of Scougall and Holt meant that Oldham just had to keep kickin g the ball over the top. A gust of wind helped Oldham's second, the first was poor defending. McNulty needs to study footage of Matt Done and Steven Davies to see how to put a real shift in. I can't see him starting again.
