Going against the flow here but I think Chris changed the starting team too much. Not having a proper left back cost us the game ultimately - his decision. Subs on way too late. On the positive he g9ot them well organised and motivated.

Didnt really get in the game other than to win a brave defensive header and some flick ons.

Ran around, created the chance for Fleck and won some decisions. Probably our best forward

Touch was off when he came on but not always helped by feeding off scraps

Poor performance today. Gave the ball away to easily; lost his tackles too many times. Not one of his better days unfortunately.

Some neat passes in the first half but in the main the game passed him by. Still adjusting to PL football. Sharp; Mousse or Didz should have played instead of him

Ran around but didnt really get in against them. Faded badly after about 50 minutes

Compact performance good on the ball, careful in possession and supplied drive going forwards, looked our best outfield player and had our best chance a good volley narrowly wide

Bang average. Overrun as usual for this season, he tried to get on the ball. Got booked but at least fought on and closed down a bit

Dwelt on the ball too much. Too many backwards passes (like most of the season), gave the ball away cheaply on numerous occasions but never gave up. We have noone better fit in the squad though sadly.

The weakest link in the defence, but he is playing out of position. City attacked constantly down his side and he was often the wrong side of Silva

Awful on the goal twice, first of all with the dire header then the weak tackle. Showed nothing going forward. Back to how he has been most of the season

Prettyaverage, got done a couple of times. Looked shaky

Poor on the goal, didnt compete aerially again throughout the match. Rightly subbed off

Average, didnt really get forward and made a number of wild challenges in the second half

Good handling and loads more confident but a number of shanked clearances just went straight out or gave them back possession, so he loses a mark for that
