Squad not quite ready for full promotion push despite January expenditure. Not enough cutting edge in certain positions and no better alternatives. The Holmes, Wilson, C.Evans, Lafferty situations have been critical. The Lavery, Hanson, Thomas failures critical also. Our first choices look knackered.
One a handful of poor performances all season. As Wilder said, "a few have run their race. Better squad depth required and a couple of real stars to lead the team. Not sure where the cash comes from to do that
Disappointed with a few last Sat , big game , big opportunity & didn’t turn up . CW called it honest with the assessment, more depth & quality required for next season
