Panini announced a while back they'd be partnering up with the Premier League, however yet to have seen any other announcement.
They've released a 'Tabloid' sticker book, however this was all last seasons teams, and has a very small section with no stickers for promoted teams.

Not done one of these sticker books since I was about 7, however with Blades being in Prem, and it making a come back, think this is a right season to give it another go.
Never had chance to collect blades in a sticker book!

Recently found my 1994 sticker book with Blades in it. Half full at best. But I remember leaving the original out in the rain and it getting ruined so the one in the loft is the replacement.

I heard about the new book so I'm keen. S2 swop shop incoming I reckon. 😁

I couldn't afford sticker books when I was a kid but if the eBay market is decent I might get one and do United.

Can't be arsed to spend £400 and so swaps though.

i hope they don’t do it so early. I don’t want to be trying to find a sticker of Ched Evans or Caolan Lavery. Or finding a Lys Mousset Bournemouth sticker. They have a habit of doing it too early.

Pretty sure my Ipswich spares are still stuck to a desk in my dad's garage.

I used to love the football cards rather than stickers. I collected all of them in the 90/91 season but left them on an aeroplane when I was a kid, was gutted. When eBay was invented I had to on and buy the full set.

My
i've done a few in adulthood just for the lols. seems to me like panini reeeeeeeally like to get every single penny from you, like there'll probably be stickers for the groundsmen and each corner flag. Merlin premier league sticker books are king.

My kids do match attax. It really is a money pit with 2 of them. Worse part of it is when they bring out new editions mid season with updated cards and you can't get the original ones for the book any more. Kids enjoy it though.

Last bought a sticker album for Spain '82, wasn't panini though, couldn't afford it where I lived, still got swappsys if anyone interested?

That was the first one I did. Then did Football 83, 84 and 85. Mexico 86, then stopped. (they were joint efforts with my brother). I think we were 1 off finishing '83, but it was one of the rules in the drawing section at the back, so we picked one that looked the same and stuck it in, and to fair, it looks complete! :) 😇

I did the last world cup but one, and finished it. I quite enjoyed it, even though I didn't know anyone else doing it.

Near the end (maybe 50 to go) it was obviously a waste of money, but I saw The Forum in town was doing a 'Swaps meet'. I cannot describe why I went, as I don't socialise at all, but I was close by, found a parking space and thought, feck it! Filled in about 5 minutes! (edit to add: it was a mixture of people, probably about 40% young kids + parents, and about 40% students, the rest just geeks and whatnot)

I was going to do the World Cup again, but it went from 50p for 5 stickers, to 80p of 4 stickers (or thereabouts) so I didn't bother.

I used to have Top Trumps in the 80's which taught me a few things I'll never forget; Peter Shilton scored a goal, Ray Clemence didn't, and Ray Wilkin's nickname was 'Butch'.

I made a fortune flogging football cards on ebay to some fella wi' a Barnsley post code
What was even better was I didn't buy em in 1st place - found em at t'airport on way back from me 'olidays !

I think the last time I had a sticker album was 1998. With United being in this one it'd be quite nice to do it, just as a reminder of my childhood, but Panini just want to rinse you for every penny possible and I don't really want to be paying £700-£800 to fill a sticker album.

I suppose it was the same back when Merlin were doing them to be fair but as a kid, you just didn't realise it.

The last one's I had were 90/91 when we'd just gone back up. I think I had a Panini (possibly called something else ?) one and a Sun one. I cheated, didn't buy a single pack of cards, just sent off for all the Utd stickers out of each one. May have a dig round later to see if I can find them & put pictures up.

I had a set of those. Joe Corrigan was the tallest player. Can’t remember much else.

That swap event sounds good. I did the Russia one as I was going but it is hard to find fellow swappers so I ended up giving up.

I did a couple of World Cup ones fairly recently and there are good swap sites out there where you arrange a swap deal and just post them to each other. I never had a problem doing this, if anyone needs it I can dig out the URL.

Got introduced to Soccer Stars stickers in 1971 but have never completed any of the albums in the next few seasons. Bought a completed set of the 1967/68 album at a jumble sale in the mid 1970s and the below photo is the Sheffield United page. The only player in the page I had not heard of at the time was Willie Smith so I asked my dad if he could remember him. He took a long puzzled look at his photo before saying "Not really, he was a reserve". I would expect the company who set up the album would decide on who the 15 players for each clubs' page to be based on the highest number of appearances in the previous season (1966/67). It is strange that Phil Cliff (2 FL appearances) and Willie Smith (1 FL appearance) got places but not Alan Woodward (41 FL appearances). As Mick Jones (left in Sept 1967) and Alan Birchenall (left in Nov 1967) it looks like the albums and stickers were ready in the shops just before Xmas 1967 or in early 1968.
