I think that was as a result of earlier trouble - they can't do it for the sake of it anymore - human rights stuff.

If you were on the coaches you were out straight away. It seemed they got around it by holding up the route to the station at the earliest possible location.

And may I give a big mention to the knob who was sat in the South Stand. He very kindly sent his fucktard of a child with his mate onto the back row where they could play their crinkly bottle game as well as the 'kick the fuck out of the seat in front' game to make as much annoying noise as possible. I am sure said knob enjoyed the game without any distractions. When a pensioner politely asked the kids to stop, the knob proceeded to threaten to cave in the pensioners head.

And by the way, I was there with my fucktards but I know how to make them behave.

Just been talking to one of my mates, who co-incidentally is the 'knob'. His version of events is somewhat different to yours, and having known the 'knob' most of my life, I would trust his version of events.

First of all his kid wasn't kicking the back of your seat, secondly I would have raised it with the poor lads parent rather than acting agressively and making a 9 year old child try, I'm proud of my mate though for acting with a bit of composure (and for the avoidance of all doubt he is not the sort to deliberately look for trouble or deliberately try and antagonise someone, and he has got a great little kid as well), if you had done it to my child I would have thrown you down the South Stand.

If you don't like the way children sometimes behave then for fuck sakes, don't go to the match, they have every right to attend the match as well.

What you have written is all absolute bullshit. Hope you feel proud about upsetting a small child, and then writing a load of lies about it on a message board. Just thought I would defend the other party and set the record straight, and call you out as a bullshitter.

Yes, yes and yes again. Cue some sarcastic twat saying, "We need to think about the kids".

You seem to have misunderstood. The kids concerned were not kicking the back of my seat but I did witness what went off. The bloke could not have mentioned it to the parent as he was sat about 6 rows in front, how was he supposed to identify him, DNA test? The pensioner did not have a go at the kids, he asked then to stop with the bottle crunching and knocking the seat (as kids do, as I tell my kids all the time for doing as it annoys people). What I really objected to was the parent threatening the feller that had complained. The anger in the parents face, he was almost spitting it out, it was pathetic. If someone asked my kids to stop banging seats and playing up, I would support them.

Sorry if this does not fit in with your mates view but I saw it and I maybe a bit more unbiased. The kids were not doing anything all kids do but the parent basically fucked them up to the back row so he could spend some time with his mates. Well, fuck that, look after your own kids as I do and don't palm them off on people that have paid good money to watch the shit currently served up at the Lane.

So we have shit players, a shit manager, a shit board and increasingly shit fans.

Perhaps we all juts deserve each other and our current plight. :(

I have always said thank fuck for the laundry and tea ladies , Elsie and Rita at the Lane . The only sensible common denominator that keeps this club grounded and not going fully to the dogs.

Little things mean a lot.

Hey hang on. Nobody has ever done my laundry or made me a cuppa at the game.

Tea and laundry ladies aaarrrggghhhhttt!

Milwall did with us lot a few weeks back

We were more than a little held in at Millwall, so it's either completely legal or we're prepping a lawsuit.

The lay of the land around Bramall Lane seems to completely befuddle the SYP. They don't get that putting up a steel wall by The Cricks does nothing but inconvenience fans. They don't get that letting everyone out at the same time, many of whom are setting off in the same direction, is a recipe for disaster. At what point do they think to consult the public and ask what they think is/isn't working?

People got spat on by Dingles yesterday. I think this can be avoided.

Technically, we weren't held in the ground at Millwall, we were held OUTSIDE the ground. Nice little way around it that the Met has found at Millwall.

Sorry, fella, nowt wrong with defending your mate but telling someone he's wrong without explaining why isn't "setting the record straight", it's just arguing.

It was both. We stayed behind in our seats for roughly 5 mins after the whistle before exiting the stand, only to be held up again at that gate. And then again at the second fucking gate.

Aye but you weren't held in your seats or in the stand, you could leave the concourse freely, only to be held outside the ground by both gates being closed. Clever stuff by both the police and Millwall, not holding fans in the ground, but not letting them out onto the streets at the same time. We were talking to a SYP officer outside after the game, and he said they'd closed both gates because of the trouble before the game.

The stewards didn't give the impression that we could leave the concourse and go outside, but then I suppose that was the point. Awful away day and I won't be going again.

We weren't restricted at all, until we physically left the back of the stand, out onto the walkway area behind the stand, there we found the gate up to the station closed and the gate the other end out onto the road closed. The stewards didn't seem that bothered about any of it, attitude seemed to be there's plenty of police let them deal with it.

And, I might add, it's strange that your friend has recognised himself from a completely inaccurate and fictitious account :-)

Just a big thank you to the "fans" of both sides who decided to have a punch up at the top of St Mary's road right in the middle of a number of family's who had clearly come out of John St, I wonder which element of that you are most proud of? knocking the old grandad which a stick into the wall next to the subway or terrifying a girl aged about 8 in to tears? Or whoever started the 'he'll shag who wants chant"

Well done everyone.

Some fans show a bit of spirit and people lose their minds...

I've not misunderstood fuck all. If picking on little kids gets your rocks off, then knock yourself out, just be careful you don't pick on the wrong kid because some parents won't like it and will fight fire with fire.

I don't believe Mr Balborough did 'pick on little kids', if anyone did it was the pensioner he describes. Mr Balborough observed the kids being a nuisance, the altercation and subsequently the pensioner allegedly being threatened by your mate.

Don't really want to take sides for a variety of reasons, including not seeing any of this. But your mate and his kids don't seem to cover themselves in glory here.

Knowing the bloke in question and seeing him and his 9 year old son getting absolutely panned on here boils my piss, especially as he isn't a member on here, and is a top fella who I have known all my life, and his young un is a genuinely nice kid as well.

I just think it is sad that Barlborough (not going to refer to him as Blade) has seen fit to come on here and launch a character assassination. I'm not prepared to sit back and what it happen.

Judge Lydon in session.
All rise.

So, what have we here?

Character assassinations?

On invisible individuals? On assumptions? Made by avatars and a forum names...

No case to answer Mr Barlborough Blade.

You're free to enjoy your football.

Next......

Will Brownies appeal take as long as Ched's?

Can he post on here in the meantime? Or will Jean have to comment?
