Had real trouble getting comments this month. Bob Harris, James Wallace, Kieron Freeman and Kler Heh haven't started a game for any of their respective clubs whilst McNulty has only started one. Anyway here's what I managed to get

There's going to be a real stampede for James Wallace's signature this summer.

I read somewhere that Wallace didn't play on Tuesday because he wasn't allowed to play against us. I wonder what the excuse was against all the other clubs Shrewsbury played.

I remember many an argument where people thought James Wallace would be an improvement on McDonald when he was fit.

Another example of a player held in higher regard the longer he was out of the team.

We are only a little way to clearing out the crap.
They are after all on loan!
What a fecking toxic ultra financial hangover legacy Clough has left.
The worrying thing is this pile of Clough deadwood are still on our books and stealing a wage here on the best contracts of their careers.

had a look at goal scoring stats links that others had posted on Sharp and Che's tally - checked out McNulty and he has by far the highest % shots on target of anyone shown in the top 4 divisions. His goals per minute is also impressive - though has to be taken in context of League 2. He is clearly far better than League 2 and I for one would be happy to have him as an option if Adkins thinks he can manage him.

Roy, look forward to your updates on loans and the view from, going to miss them in the summer, its better than reading the morning paper!

Well done Scougs, I've often said a good little player will always beat a......oh hold on wrong thread....

Well done anyway Scougall! :)

I can't believe I', saying this. BUT in fairness to Clough Wallace was worth a gamble because of his undoubted ability. Yes he had had injury probles at Tranmere in his last season but he was over that injury and since then has gone from injury to injury that Clough could have never have known. Its a real shame that it didn't work out.

A two year gamble with the option of a third year? A one year contract with the option of extending it would have surely been better in protecting us. Prove fitness in the first year = extension. Fail to prove in first year = release. He was coming from a League 2 club with a worrying record – his second year with us has been a completely unnecessary waste of resources.

It's a shame Harris and Scougall never got a chance to play in our current system, it'd probably suit them both.

Not good enough

Harris - can't mark can't tackle.
Scougall- no sense of positional play, poor passer , too small no presence.
We need to move on
Agree, decent L1 players but not consistently good enough to play a big part in a promotion challenge.

Reliable fit-as-a-fiddle Bob Harris not named in Fleetwood's 16 for today. His loan spell concludes as follows: Starts 1, sub appearances 0.

Since being "unavailable due to loan agreement", James definitely-over-his-injuries Wallace came straight back into the Shrewsbury side with...one sub appearance in 3 games. His spell since January ends having started 3 with 3 (possibly 4 if he gets on today) sub appearances in the league. Considerably better than Bob Harris's loan spell, but way short of what's required for this squad.

Adkins's one-to-one meetings with them next week should be short. "Bye" should suffice.

Nathan byrne should buy bob harris a car
He got the lad a move to a big club with that play off performance

Kieron Freeman is even funnier. Dont know if be started yesterday but before that he had started one game in three months

In fairness to Clough another wage stealing SHIT signing.
This guy had had more breakdowns than a 5 year old Austin Allegro with 80,000 on the clock.

Calling him a gamble is beyond charitable. It was entirely predicatable.
FFS the guy had been injured every year since turning pro! He even had a hernia in his 1st season.
He had NEVER got anywhere near EVER even been fit for half a season after 5 years being a pro
How the feck does a manager not even do the basic recruitment diligence. It speaks volumes of how badly recruitment policy was allowed to run riot under Clough.
