We won't be getting him back, but we do need to get someone similar - a proper defender who's reliable and knows what he's doing. This is one signing that we might need to go back to the Championship for, maybe someone over 30. We might want to sign younger players but age is not the main factor with this one.

No. We were a poor squad because despite having 35-42 pros (depending on how you calc) we had no leaders and no "team."

Many of us have been saying (for two years now) that we needed a quality CB and a dynamo (with bite) in midfield.

The rest of them are mostly a bunch of pussies (Sharp excepted and Che - as he matures into a decent player)

Posters on Bladesmad at the U21 game today asked Adkins about him, and he said it's all down to whether Boro go up or not.

I'd say that's very promising.

Adkins did say got to be the right ones,best to keep your powder dry until they become available (Baptiste). Pointless bringing in squad fillers as Clough did.
