From the random facts...

Player 1

Born in Sunderland
A striker, with a ratio of 1 goal in every 4 games for the Blades
Started his career with SUFC and scored his first goal against Plymouth Argyle

Player 2
Had three separate spells with his home club (not SUFC) - five if you count two stints in the management team
Punctured his lung in a game at Bramall Lane
Scored 5 international goals

Player 3

Signed from Chester City
Sold to Chester City

Player 4
6'4" in height
Signed from a team beginning with 'S' and sold to a team beginning with 'S'
Played three seasons for the Blades in two different divisions

If it wasn't for the 6'4" clue for number 4 i would have said Sharp!
Sold to Scunthorpe
Signed from Scunthorpe
Played for us in the Championship and League 1

Yep (Jostein Flo), yep (Tony Philliskirk), yep (Billy Dearden) and no (Sun Jihai).

Player 2

I recall that Stewart Houston and Richard Cresswell both punctured a lung at some stage when at United but neither of them played any full internationals - maybe Houston had one for the Jocks.
Neither of them had three spells with their home town club either

But then I remembered Petr Katchouro did the lung thing and when I looked it up - 5 international goals - so it must have been him

Paul Garner had punctured his lung too at Brighton in March 1979

I thought Katch punctured a kidney?

I completely forgot that I'd posed these questions. Yes, number 2 was indeed the Man From Minsk.
