I don't feel sorry for him at all, he's earning very good money and doesn't appear to know what he's doing. I, like many others, thought it was an excellent appointment but time and time again, we've seen him make baffling decisions and changed tactics and formations so many times in a game, the players seem to not know what position they're playing or where they are supposed to be. He's playing players out of position and his general tactic to being a goal down appears to be 'throw more strikers' on which further weakens the midfield and defence that was already weak because he has failed to cover those weak positions that all the fans could see since last season and instead blew all the transfer kitty on another striker we, possibly, could have done without or at least was less of a priority.
I honestly wonder what they do in training all week, given the constant basic errors we see every single game from our players. There's no pace and half of them don't seem fit or strong enough to last 90 minutes.
On the evidence so far, I have grave doubts about his ability to build a team good enough to challenge for promotion next season based on his signings this season.
Oh and it really doesn't bother me where Wednesday finish. It wouldn't please me any more if they were bottom of league 2 and we were where we are, playing like this.
