Bollocks - Sharp should have scored when 1 on 1 - those are the moments that count - that would have been us 2-1 up and the whole complexion of the game would have changed.
A lot of effort from Sharp but very little quality

Long made one mistake - for the first goal but made at least 3-4 really good saves whereas their goal keeper didn't have much to do at all because the quality of the ball in the final third was utter shite

But did you notice that he showed his anger / disappointment / frustration at that miss. Every one of the rest of the tossers looked like they couldn't give a shit when anything went wrong and may as well have just shrugged their shoulders.
I've missed 3 games this season. Took a day off work to go down there yesterday and have just about had enough of them taking the piss out of me and the rest of us who pay their wages. I'm thinking long and hard about whether to bother going at all for the rest of the season I'm that pissed off. Personally, I think we should stick with Adkins and accept why many people disagree - but whoever the manager is, he needs to be allowed to get rid of this shit and to completely build his own team. I don't care about names or spending lots of money, just show trust in the man employed and let the manager create his own team. If the board don't do this I think I'll be taking a year off as I've not renewed my season ticket yet.

Couldn't see last night, from where I was standing if Long was in control or not, , but we would've have wanted it at the other end, wouldn't we?

OK It may have been a mistake, but it was the final one in a number of them beginning with Hammond, and then nobody picking up from the kick, and that wasn't the only time it happened last night.

Not sure why Flynny is getting grief, he puts in a shift every time.

Billy, became less and less effective as the game went on, as Barrett sussed it out. There's only so many times you can turn and the let the ball go.

The one on one miss seemed to effect him and the rest of the team.

The disappointing thing for me is apart from the poor defending, the lack of closing down, the missed chances, the unwillingness to hit it when we do have a chance, the midfield dream ticket of Hammond and Coutts.......... is the fact that when we went 2-1 down with half an hour to go that the belief and spirit vanished.

When all said and done, a series of errors led to the conceding of a very poor goal, the rights and wrongs of which no longer matter as the goal stands

Tbt I think blaming the ref is a last resort, and I'm not doing that.

We didn't lose last night because the keeper had the ball kicked out of one hand.

At the other end of the pitch Hammond seemed to charge the ball down with his hands which led to the chance for Flynn from a yard or two out. He should've lifted it.

Point being: dodgy refereeing leads to a chance in the six yard box - they take theirs, we don't take ours.

Technically I reckon it should not have stood - but we lost bc we couldn't put the ball in the net, almost no matter how simple the chance.
