Given that McNulty is on loan and probably going to be sold at end of season sammon is useless and de girolamo not getting games for us do people having them in the follow follow song is useless or should it something like this Flynn and sharpy che and beardy and whichever players name is chosen to finish off the song

I'd prefer silence over "Follow Follow", "Everywhere We Go" or "Shoreham Boys We Are Here" to be honest.
We used to have a decent repertoire, now we just have generic shite.
Well, looks like you've got your wish. Football song snobbery is killing the atmosphere at Bramall Lane. Maybe we should have an X-Factor style panel of 'experts' that will tell us what makes a good song to sing - "Ohh can't sing that. Palace sung that twice in the early 80's. Oooh, not that. It sounds a bit 'european'. Nah, too repetitive. Tell you what, how about just shouting 'United' and capping your hands a few times afterwards..."

May as well order in the prawn sandwiches now while we're at it.

We simply ain't got the singer/songwriters we once had. Just like on the pitch, we've got a dearth of young "talent"at the back of the kop.

Nowt to do with snobbery. I just prefer a bit of wit, style and originality (which we used to have in abundance).

I'm 50 and still stand at the back of the kop, in the same spot as I did in the late 1970's.

There days I'm surrounded by so many kids I'm probably on Operation Yewtree's radar

You should try mentoring a few of them.

How about changing it to this?

"...Follow, follow, follow,
can you tell me which team to follow?
Cos I once was a Blades man
but now I'm not there fan
because I hate the way we keep changing managers, hate the way this season has gone, can't see any "game changing" investment, and just think we need at least half a dozen players in summer, yet, cannot see how on earth we are going to fund it...."

Sort of drifted off course a bit towards the end, but you get the meaning

I don't think anyone has this, we could claim it:

There's a club if you'd like to go
you could meet somebody who really loves you
so you go, and you stand on your own
and you leave on your own
and you go home, and you cry
and you want to die

They're changing it to 'Swallow, Swallow,Swallow....' Next season...

Many better songs in our repertoire.

Whatever happened to our Sex Pistols number? That was a favourite of mine.

I always liked the Sheff United chant we had, started slow and built up pace over time. Unfortunately it died a death when people were too impatient and it picked up pace too quickly.

For all you older fans out there...........

Aye, Aye, Aye, Aye
Shoreham Republican Army (we're barmy)
Where ever we go, we fear no foe
For we are the SRA

or

We've traveled far and wide, we've been to Merseyside
and there is only one place we want to be
and that is Shoreham Street, where it is magnifique
and all the Wednesday fans lay dead at our feet
na na na na na na, na na na na na na

Follow follow follow.
Sheff Utd's the team to follow.
With overpaid fucking has beens.
Owners heard but not seen
and young players up their own holes.

Won't ever have to change it.

We need to start using some of the old songs,

Wonderful Wonderful Dean Hammond.

Martyn, Martyn Woolford, Martyn Woolford on the wing.

Paul Coutts, Connor Sammon, bippity boppity boo, put them together and what have you got.........

Oh we are the Sheffield United, we play in the White, Red, no black....

Bertie Mee said to Nigel Adkins, you don't half talk some shit.
