Film makers at Bramall Lane

Saw a film crew filming on Gleadless Road on the opposite side of the shops about 3 weeks ago, it still looks like the 60s in that area let alone the 80s!

Not that I would know what Sheffield actually looked like pre 90s but hey ho.

It's the telly documentary series "At home with the Khans", cause all sorts of chaos when trying to park up for a night match by shutting streets off!

Not quite correct. I've heard Jimmy Muir has come back as manager. Unfortunately they've ripped up the script 'cos he wanted to play 3 centre halves. Film Director said even Hollywood would see that as too far fetched.

They were interviewing the writer/producer about it on Radio Sheffield the other day.
Same writers as "Smack The Pony" and "Green Wing" apparently.

My nephew works on Sundays in one of the shops on Sharrow and they had hardly any custom one day due to the filming. The owner complained and a producer came in and said "how much do you usually take?", the owner was honest and the producer brought out a huge wad of notes and paid him his day's takings.
