Result never looked in doubt from the first goal, and we played some good football at times.

Would have given MOTM to Done personally, thought he was class.

Thought Baptiste looked much more assured and seems to be a decent signing.

Did Long get a touch on the shot that hit the bar? If so a very good save.

All in all a happy Saturday.

Not gonna get carried away about Whiteman, but he made some lovely passes & was notably aggressive at times. Nice cameo from Louis Reed too. Baptiste very assured & impressive.

We looked very good in periods, 3-5-2 seems to suit us.

I thought we were very good today, the result never looked in doubt. Can't fault anyone at all today. Even players such as Hammond and Flynn who have had criticism this season were excellent. I won't get too carried away and say play offs are back on but if we play like that and put a string of wins together, we should be in with a shout. Well done Blades!

Maceverly was M.O.T.M for me, he's played well since December to be fair and the switch to left side of defence be it left back or left of a three has clearly benefited him.

Thought Baptiste, Hammond, Whiteman, Done and Braford also had decent games, I still have doubts about the three centre back formation defensively when we come up against a team who are any good, but getting Brayford and Done pushing forward from wing back has at last brought a bit of pace into the side getting forward.

Flynn scored a really good goal and ran his socks off. Really good interaction with Done at times too. My MOM

Nice result.
Well done Blades...now please go and repeat it till the end of the season...

Flynn MOTM for me, quality player when confident, good squad player so id keep him. Good performance on the whole.

Very enjoyable to watch today.

The players visibly grew in confidence as the game went on, and by the end everyone wanted to ball, and were both controlling and using it well.

Hopefully we take some of that down to Millwall next week and get a bit of a run going.

Happiest Saturday evening in a long time!

First time this season we looked like a unit at the back today.

Great to get a convincing win at last. Much better today - particularly first half. More positive and more determined. Not convinced some of our youngsters are up to it yet - they seem to lack the aggression needed. Baptiste, Done, Brayford and McCeverley stood out I thought.

Happy with the win, but

1. Oldham are dreadful
2. One swallow doesn't make a summer
3. We have no consistency and I doubt we'll even string two wins together from now until the end of the season never mind the 5 we'll probably need to threaten the top 6

And Ryan Flynn; I thought he was excellent.

Great opening 25 mins best of season some fantastic movement to create loads of chances. Brayfords goal was a beauty of a volley, although we were aided by the Impossible Oldham having a worst defence than us

Thought 2nd half we'd lost abit that spark that had blew Oldham away 1st half but then really for 1st time in a while were comfortable enough to not have to be 100%. But If i had 1 negative shame took til march 35 games gone, where any realistic playoff hopes are finished & it basically dead rubbers in my opinion but Ive mentioned before that we are inconsistent Jekell & hyde team can be great 1 game & terrible next

DCL - makes Bambi look like The Hulk. :)

I've not really seen anything in DCL yet, he seems weak, not that quick and not that good. But he must have something about him if he was getting a look in at Northampton. And to be fair, our strikers never receive the ball to feet, even in games like today where we're winning comfortably. They always have to scrap to get hold of it.

Good all round performance against opposition that have only lost 2 on the road(although i don't know how),the next step is following it on next week...........we're due a good run &definitely owed a few goals.
Good formation,if i was on the radio it would be "a massive praise rob".
Flynn obviously realising he's playing for his future.
Smiles all round for once.

even before his goal I was saying how well he was playin winning balls in midfield and threadinf some nice passes through.

interestting so many differnt views on MOTM - shows it was a decent team performsnce. Flynny for me.

Great team performance from front to back, got the ball down and looked to break forward quickly at every opportunity, closed down the opposition and every single player looked up for it.

I haven't been since Donny due to the lack lustre performances, but today was a total contrast of what's gone before.

There seemed to be a new unity amongst the squad, as was evident in the goal celebrations, maybe Collins departure has been a positive effect on morale? All in all, thought it was a great game and fantastic to see everyone giving 100%, lets hope this is a new dawn.

Shame Adkins neglected to mention the new style of play to DCL who plodded about like someone in their testimonial year, but I guess, you can't have it all ;)

Also when Whiteman went off ,McEverley and Brayford made conscious decisions to go and congratulate him on his performance.
