Mcnuts will be back at SUFC next season.

The only other option is Clough taking him to Burton one division higher.

Let's all spunk about a player that has scored 10 goals in the league below
League one and League two are not too dissimilar , whoever comes up always does more than enough and whoever gets relegated from League One never pulls any trees up, some going straight down to the conference. On the other hand, the Championship and Premier league are different kettles of fish barring a couple of exceptions. We don't need to spunk over McNulty to realise he's better than most of our strikers, it's just basic common sense. If we had a few who were better then I wouldn't bat an eyelid but the fact of the matter is we haven't, that's why he should be with us and not helping someone else to be above us next season.

But would you play him WITH Sharp or INSTEAD OF? Not sure they would be too good together. Could be wrong !?

Why not at least have him on the bench for when Sharp is injured, like he seems to have been for a few games now, it's always good to have options at your disposal. We don't have better options over McNulty when Sharp isn't 100% imho, otherwise we'd be ok and i wouldn't bat an eyelid.

Well written - he might be a twat off the field but he is a goal scorer - it's not as if we have a glut of strikers who are doing the job.

FFS - it's up to Adkins to SORT Mcnulty out - he is (allegedly) the master of this - or so we were all led to believe.

Considering our situation, I cannot see anything but Mcnulty come back next season.

For the ones who don't like Mcnulty - where are we NOW going to find some money to actually go and buy another striker?

and finally - Adkins said he would give everyone a chance - well, he hasn't given Mcnulty that chance.

might be right, might be wrong - Billy is a fantastic work horse who runs the channels - a very willing runner.

Allow Mcnulty the chance to poach, be a bit of a Keith Edwards - we need to at least try it. Adkins has tried everything else.

There comes a point where off field activity/influence becomes too big a negative and outweighs anything positive on the pitch (decidedly average whenever I've seen him, bar West Ham in the LC).

I would have the old Shaun Miller back in a shot, I rated him very highly when he was here. If it wasn't for that one unfortunate injury, things might have been different.

Agree totally - before he got the bad injury he was forming a great partnership with Kitson.

Felt they were forming a partnership that could have took us up that season - he and we were very unlucky - can still see the tackle now sitting in the Westfield.

Since McNulty has been down there they don't seem to have had any problems with him and we don't seem to have got rid of the real bad eggs do we?

it always takes time to recover from serious injuries and we didn't know give him enough time. Likewise we need to be patient with Brayford who had a bad injury it will take him some time to be 100%

maybe it's far enough away from Scotland to break the connection/influence. Maybe the penny has dropped, maybe the press down there aren't as diligent, maybe as a loanee he hasn't the clout. Who knows?

We seem to be getting rid of a few bad eggs. One at a time!

If he was a bad egg then lets hope it's the penny has dropped line for his sake and hopefully ours but I don't think he's as bad an influence as some that are still here now but like you say, who knows?

To my knowledge the only one's making McNulty threads recently are those making these one's claiming others are.
