Although Che Adams won a few headers, making him a target man is not playing to his strengths and when the ball was lumped to him, it created nothing.

Baptiste reminded me of being in the school play ground when we used to play 'let's see who can kick the ball highest in the air'

We gave the ball back to the opposition far too many times because our passing was so poor.

A pint of lager at £3.70 is still a rip-off

The GCB is now sung out of loyalty/habit rather than to celebrate/declare our support of the team.

Most of the players have a distinct lack of belief in themselves.

Most of the fans believe the players have a distinct lack of ability in themselves.

We don't get to the byline and put crosses in.

The shirts are still crap.

We amble forward, the opposition break at pace.

We don't get many corners and when we do we're not a threat

We had 4 shots to the opposition's 12.

Nigel Clough gave a good after-game interview

The only bit of last night that made me smile was hearing my 80 year old dad used a barrage of f-words to describe his frustration. Well done Blades. You've achieved another first.

Also, the boos at the end were half-hearted. Nobody seems to give a toss anymore
Exactly. There have been some home games this season, notably Shrewsbury, Coventry (even though we won) and Swindon, where I was so angry with the 'tactics' employed by the chump in charge. Last night, he took it to a whole new level, and frankly I did'nt give a shit, I was more amused than angry.

I left 15 minutes early. First time I've ever left a match early but it was pouring with rain, I had to get back to Nottingham and I knew we were never going to score, we hadn't even had a chance in the second half. Glad I did as I was already in Chesterfield by the time the final whistle went!

Ditto half way across snake pass at final whistle

I have never ever left a game in over 30 years of watching United home and away until the full time whistle....

Until last night.

Ok there were only 2 minutes of normal time left. But it's still another sad landmark in this pitiful season. I just couldn't endure anymore, knowing that we wouldn't score if we played all night.

I didn't expect anything last night, so it was more of a deep sigh at the final whistle, sad that we have been reduced to this.

If anyone wants to really upset themselves, find the thread on here showing our 10 best Premier League goals...........remember what players we used to have.

I fear many fans will turn up at the lane just to mock this pitiful team.

Last 8 games (yes I'm very selective to prove a point).

Blades - scored 3 conceded 7.................points 8
Burton - scored 9 conceded 8..................points 13

I've no idea what my point is? Oh maybe it's that the goals have dried up and although we are conceding sloppy goals they have conceded more.

So yes! No idea what I'm on about but you probably knew that already............o_O

Back when we had players that were not afraid to shoot from outside the box.

im with that, ive got to the point last night that i couldve even be bothered to boo, but didnt like Collins's patronizing clap at the end. i enjoyed the sarcastic cheers anytime we got near the penalty box reminded me of a video i cant find. when i think rochdale fans were 5-0 down in a game got a consolation goal started going mental & started singing "were going to win 6-5"

Not only do we not break at pace we do not close down the opposition with any kind of intent,
Burton chased the ball down at any given opportunity and closed down from the front breaking down our play time after time.
My 11 year old has been coached this and is one of the basics of football going back years normally caused Ratting and really gets to me that our team don't even do this...

We don't have a terrier to rat with !

I actually left before they put the board up for added time. That is a first for me.

Yep we've kept far too many clean sheets for liking. Especially at the OTHER END.

"We amble forward, the opposition break at pace"

This particularly frustrates the life outta me

It also frustrates me as we did move forward with pace for 45 mins against Rochdale on Saturday, and I fully expected (or rather hoped ) we could do the same at home against Burton. It all went pear shaped in the second half on Saturday and sadly continued from the start last night.

Incidentally where were the juvenile delinquents of Saturday? Do their Mums and Dads not let them out late?

I can't remember seeing a team that lacks so much pace everywhere on the park such as our sorry bunch

The person(s) responsible are guilty of criminal negligence

It's ok tho, keep bringing in an aging bunch of nobodies. No disrespect to the player signed yesterday, but that just typifies the mentality that this board and management team must have.

We must have the highest average age for a team in this league (is that NA's 6th signing? Anyone care to log their ages?) I'm all for a bit of experience in the side, but ffs, at this rate we'll qualify for the over 30's league, which incidently, after last night, that's where we are probably headed

Yes, I accept the two youngsters came on, but they were forced out of desperation brought about by such an inept bunch that the manager had no choice

Promotion................they're havin a laugh. With the current policy that this club has adopted, we're more likely to go down than go up next season

Deplorable
