Biggest embarrassment to the club today

Were the aggressive fans looking for a fight and threatening our players. Word will go around and I am sure good players will not choose to join us this summer if they have contract offers from other clubs, Well done you utter twats!

Glad someone has said this.

Not only might it impact on recruitment - but players we want to retain might choose to leave as well.

Would you want to play in front of that, ever?

For an hour we played our best sustained football of the season and apparently, "We're fucking shit," and, "You're not fit to wear the shirt."

No. "You're not fit to support the team."

There are plenty of issues at the club atm and this is one of the biggest.

Sorry Silent but you always bang on about keeping one thread to a subject.

Imagine what Matty done thought ,some wanker who couldn't even tie a pair of boots right up in his face as he picked up the ball for a thrown ,gesticulating and slavering in his face while hes trying to impress at a club where they thought he was a star. Utter utter wankers ,I was so ashamed of some of those tossers today.

Of fuck off and don't make this about you, we are fans and we have subjects to talk about ,if you want to hijack for your own vanity do us a favour and go to bed or something.
Hijack? I made one comment about the fact that there's another thread on this, and Silent says we should stick to one thread per subject. Not a dig in any way just making the point.

From another thread.

Genuinely shocked by the behaviour of the pitch side mob. Players (of both sides) didn't want to go anywhere near. The belief visibly drained away from our players.

The chant of 'Not fit to wear the shirt' was out-of-order, United were dominant (admittedly squandering chance after chance), until they scored against run of play. The second goal was the cue for an instant pitchside rush by some, who must have itching to shout vitriol at our players. All hope of a fightback gone from that moment.

Agreed. This is costing us on the pitch.

Barney , please do the Blades a big favour.... could you please persuade the idiots from today's match to stop going to matches like you did since October
There are idiots in every club and there isn't much you can do about them. Just a shame our situation has made our idiots in to violent and agressive ones.

Oh the irony of Tightwad accusing anybody of making the same point twice.
No, making a second thread about the same subject. Not the same point. Here we go, getting personal about money again. There's a fair bit of irony in you talking about making the same point twice though, so well done for that.

Couldn't care less about the players employed by Sheffield United ( I'm no longer referring to them as our players). A few drinks and a few lines of charlie tonight and they'll get over it.

It's the vile behaviour towards Rochdale that I find disgusting. There's been too many incidents this season involving our fans being cunts, I wish they'd fuck off and die quite frankly.

Today, I was embarrassed to be a supporter of Sheffield United FC - I was disappointing enough to watch the Blades capitulate after dominating the match but those morons made me question as to whether I want to support a club that attracts neanderthals and half wits embroiled in that squalid display with the players and the stewards late on in the game.
i noticed as I was exiting the ground police were filming some of the perpetrators - I for one would like to see the club ban them both home and away for a very long time !

It's not the fact that it may put off any prospective players signing for the club but more putting off died in the wool FANS that have supported the club through thick and thin by their thugish, loutish behaviour that does not belong in a civilised society !

There is something the club can do about these morons.they are causing mayhem on concourses at away grounds, there is plenty of evidence on mobile footage (doncaster) these are young men and if season ticket holders, will be off the kop as there wasn't a massive away following today maybe it's possible to follow up these morons from there ticket
Purchases. The club need to root em
out quickly before they turn children
against the club. I hope the club follow this site and get proactive.
maybe Foxy or Linz could help with this. The club has to sort it and fast.

No its not acceptable and its up to the club to get rid of the violent fans and ban them.
To the op, I wouldn't bring in the players contracts into this debate as simply they all need sacking, as they have stolen a wage this season and need to be offloaded asap.

Believe me all our players today put in 100% effort.

5th season in L1, a pathetic 10th position and 11 defeats before the end of Feb. And the biggest thing some on here have to complain about is our fans. Un-be-fucking-lievable
Stop exaggerating, I said Idiots who are not SUFC fans

Megalike Pete! Jeez. Fans fault again. Christ so it kicked off a bit and we nicked their duvet. Fucking hell ban them all. This is still clinging on to being a working class dare I say working mens pastime. If you go to football expect it to get a bit "blue".

No one wants to see people hurt but jesus things boiled over a bit today so the fuck what?? It was nothing. If u wanted no part of it move away it was all right down the front there was plenty of space behind.

There was one smoke bomb in the concourse today at half time and there's a guy on twitter on about crying children "covered in smoke" (not sure how u get covered in smoke - and he called it a flare which is inaccurate) I was stood next to the smoke bomb area for 10 mins previous before it went off. I was stood there cos it was a "good laugh" (yea sorry I like stuff like that on away days and yes I probably am old enough to know better). It was obvious if someone had pyro amongst them it was going off there. If I was asthmatic/scared of red smoke I would have moved away from that area cos I knew what might happen. Why can't other people do this?
