Arse....Thoroughly enjoyed today. A few pints in the Sheaf View with good friends. Off to the match,18,000 a great performance. Lovely goal by Billy Sharp. Excellent in defence, clean sheet, then off to town for more beer and to celebrate! Great day! Love it, love it, love it! UTB:)

Are you protesting about the protest?

Not hard to believe you had a few pints beforehand if you 'thoroughly enjoyed' that.

How can we knock the lads no goals conceded as mentioned decent crowd we won 1-0 not the best game but an improvement.play offs back in sight u.t.b

Barney, you weren't there, we scored and they had zero, fat zero, shots on target. So well done Blades! 3 points and a clean sheet! :)
Only because I was asked, but I was there today as I've said in another thread. It wasn't a great performance by any means. If you think it was then I'm afraid your judgement is way off.

Ricky, I really did, I love the Blades winning, I love the club, not one shot on target. 3 points, clean sheet. What were you hoping for Herbert?

Barney I am pleased you went even though you sold your season ticket some time ago....... Clearly you may have preferred that we lose to vindicate your criticism of the club. I can't begin to imagine your disappointment.

I am absolutely delighted we won, we restricted them to precisely 0, Fat Zero shots on goal. Say what you want but you will not dent my support for the Blades. :)

I was disappointed Lord Brown didn't appear :(

Doesn't matter whether people thought it was "great" or not, surely we are all in agreement that it was a marked improvement on what we have watched of late. It was a step in the right direction and we showed more commitment today than in the last few home games put together. True, it wasn't promotion winning football but it was 3 points, a clean sheet and generally (bar the usuals) a good atmosphere. Credit where it's due Barney.

Stalin would be an improvement on Hitler. So what?

Not agreeing with Barney or Ricky (really Herbert) in all their views but I have to say that today the only things to be enjoyed were the result and the performances of Basham and Sharp.

To say the game or performance as a whole was enjoyable is disingenuous at best.

Well, we won. It could have been worse. Baby steps, while the disease gets the spotlight on it.

Really Herbert? Shit, don't tell anybody. Not sure why it matters, but please don't tell anybody.

I'm no clapper but let's have a bit of realism. You don't think that was an improvement?
Yes, it was ................. better

Billy is becomming awsome, Che and Bash (and captain) were good, the others fuckers need to get going pretty sharpish

and they'll be gone come the summer. Let's just hope we get another 10 with Billy's commitment.

We seemed like we dominated the match which we rarely do these days. I think had we got a deserved second goal it would have put more of a gloss on the result.

I just wish we had been more commited at Bury and got a win there as well.

As bizarre as it sounds we are 11 points off second place. True the top two is a bridge too far now but the board should be kicking themselves for not signing anyone in January. The chance was there to kick on and climb the table which is exactly what Wigan have done in the last month or so.

I don't believe the right players were not available to sign as McCabe said. Everyone else managed to improve their squads. Even a punt on free agents Vaz Te or Moussa would have shown some intent. Turn those 9 draws we have into wins for example and we would be top with 75 points.

We may just coast into the play offs at best much like last season. Don't get me wrong though, happy for the win today but just thinking of what could have been.
