Liverpool FC.
Supporters walk out on 77 minutes.

Four days later.
The £77 ticket.
Scrapped.

Board apologise to supporters for causing distress.

Season Ticket prices frozen.

That's a very successful protest. Result accomplished.

Any news yet on the Blades' supporter's protests?

'The club has also ended game categorisation - meaning fans will pay the same price for matchday tickets regardless of the opposition.'

"A great many of you have objected strongly, message received"

"The widespread opposition to this element of the plan has made it clear that we were mistaken."

"The unique and sacred relationship between Liverpool Football Club and its supporters has always been foremost in our minds. It represents the heartbeat of this extraordinary football club."

Take note everybody, direct action works.

We don't want to protest, apparently.

We're still alright to be wondering why nothing's getting done about the situation though.

Our club and the boardroom in particular is so fucked up in so many ways that it's impossible to narrow it down into one clear message to get across in a protest.

What would we do? Go and protest with banners reading 'sort yourselves out' aimed at people who probably aren't even in the country?!

I think the first thing needed is for more of our fans to be informed about their general negligence and incompetence, the total lack of any football knowledge and the absence of anyone making decisions and getting things done. But none of the main media outlets will go after the club like that.

Can we protest about the idiot Gary Sinclair and the shit he plays at the start of each half ..................................... yes I'm talking about TGCB song it is cringeworthy.

Your mate Barney's sorting all that sort of stuff out. I'm sure he'll let us know when he's fine tuned his strategy.

No one around to manufacture a protest I'm guessing. Forums full of keyboard warriors and no one who genuinely thinks it would change if we did go shoes off.

Scousers actually had something physical to protest against. A number if you like. Being shit doesn't really rally the troops or there would be weekly protests at about 20 grounds every week.

I didn't say I was not in favour. I disagreed with the armchair bloke slagging off those who didn't.

No point 19 blokes and a banner turn up in the car park like the backwards looking protest against Danny Wilson.
I wasn't in favour of any car park protests either.

But you're alright to disagree with someone disagreeing with those not protesting, but you'd actually like to protest in one way or another?

Can you see how silly you sound?

I'm told I sound silly by Barney, so luckily for me, that completely negates any actual silliness.

And the point was, It's very easy to slag people off from the comfort of your chair, as you've found.

I'd leave it there if I were you, I wouldn't want that track you're walking on getting any further back.

You're in reverse as it is.

Pete go end it all now. Your life will know no higher point.
