It's a bad idea to rename every stand after printing tickets cos noone knows where the feck they're supposed to be if they don't go regular.
SHows that money talks though, doesn't it.

Seems a bit steep to me for Carling Cup. I know its Arsenal, but we have played them a few times in recent years, therefore people wont be as bothered about going to see us play them. Plus we're shite at minute too.

Evolution corner is by far the most cringeworthy stand name I've heard yet.

I suspect the amount they paid to have their name on it far outweighed the cringes :)

Indeed, the mentality these days is whether the Advantages or the Disadvantages outweigh each other, and in business Money weighs the heaviest.

Isn't that just what I said but dressed up a little?

Well the prices show I won't be going unless there is an improvement in football in the given timescale.

One thing to remeber in United's favour is that Arsenal have as much say as the Blades in the pricing of the game. So United may have wanted to price it lower (Unlikely but they might have) and Arsenal may have refused to let them as they get a cut of the takings from the match.

a commonly held view probably mate, can't see this one being a high attendance

i mean come on, it's the fizzy pop cup for fuck's sake, even though it is arsenal - they're still gonna play (most probably) a bunch of 17 year old foreign kids who no-one's heard of. oh and theo wallcott, so that's £22 to see theo walcott :) good value

We all know that this isn't the case I'm afraid, as much as it would be nice to believe.

At least we're optimistic :D

I wouldn't say Arsenal's kids are unheard of, they got to the final last year, so they're still a bloody good bunch of players, and will most likely rip us apart.

True Daz,

They have a good side for their "reserve" team.

and will most likely rip us apart.

1 man and his dog could rip our defence apart right now. :)

Although i have to say the pricing for this match is stupid.

Would not surprise me if we end up with an attendance like the Aston Villa cup match the other year.

Aye true but it is best to win when we have a full house at the lane though.

so £5 discount for people not havin a season ticket for another game.

but for people who go week in week out they can sod off. oh yeah sounds good.

aston villla attendance was something like 14,000 i think.it's a bit steep as you've said but no doubt i shall be going
