I can't laud the great cull yet. Freeman is a perfectly good squad player in Division 1 promotion chasing club.

This lot should be way ahead of him in the kill list based on age, cost and contribution:

Collins, McEv, Baxter, Higdon, J Wallace, Cuvelier, Kennedy, De Girolamo, JCR, Woolford, Sammon, and perhaps Harris, Flynn, Scougall and Howard.

That's 15 players. (fifteen!)

You can't seriously want rid of JCR ,

the ONLY player in the entire squad that can take the football past a defender , or are you thinking we should start delivering incisive crosses from inside our own half ?

The ONLY player who can force opposing defenders to move faster than walking pace ?

Yup. He needs replacing with a younger quick winger who carries the ball, but one who scores and creates far more.

He's fun but not one for next season.

I'm slightly perplexed about all the hate being thrown in Freeman's direction. He was one of our better players early season and has done a decent job covering for Beard. He was one of the only players to be clearly giving 100% every game. Whether you agree or not about him going, it's done now. Good luck to him.

No, 14. Wallace is at Shrewsbury.

We can't get rid of Collins, McEv, Woolford, Flynn, Howard yet as we don't have good enough cover, particularly if Harris goes. I think we're stuck with Sammon as Mal didn't appear to include a 'send him back' clause.

The rest can go now for me though and those above can go at the end of the season if we can find better.
IMO, of course.

It's only a small minority, I think most people feel more like you do. Personally, I wouldn't have minded if he'd stayed but I'm not that fussed he's going either. He wouldn't have been my first choice out of the door but if I put five items on eBay because I'm desperate for cash, I don't get to choose what order they're sold in.

If JCR goes (and I know he's not popular with you 3 or NA) , that leaves us with virtually no-one to run either flank.

Would you not replace him with someone who can run with the ball and beat a man , like Jamie Murphy ?

Do you want us to spend the entire game in our own half , pumping it up to a salmon that can't leap ?

I think the Prince has got cold feet. I think he's way off his business plan, that we should be finishing mid table in the championship and looking to strengthen for a play off challenge next season, according to his timetable.
And I don't think him and Jimbo have the faintest idea how to sort it out.
He's so far out of his depth there's an octopus clinging to his arse.
