What any one think of him last night? He scared cardiffs defence shitless imo and got a few good crosses in, should be in the team vs bristol city but probably wont be.

Id give him a start alongside Beattie on saturday.

I was surprised by him last night, I don't rate him but he did well last night. Depending on injuries Saturday potentially stick him out wide.

I'd be tempted more to play him in midfield. For every 50-50 that Monty wins I reckon Luton would get to the ball first anyway. He never looks scared of losing the ball, running with it 3 yards in front of him but knows he'll still get there first. He'd scare me shitless, I know that.

I think Shelton is definatley pushing for a start after another confident performance, yet i don't think you can drop Stead. It just depends which one you'd play where, Stead seems to drift out wide a lot to collect the ball and will try and beat his man to get a cross in, while shelton has the pace to get past his man and pull a ball back from the touchline and seems to be able to get a good ball in.

Whilst I was saying Shelton should be worth a game in front of Stead, you can't drop Stead after his excellent performance last night.

Let's get a 4-5-1 sorted, with Stead and Shelton on right and left respectively.

Shelton was fantastic when he came on.

I'm glad that the majority of people are recognising what an important job Stead is doing this season, dropping into the midfield to provide a link between the forwards and the middle of the park.

I'm disappointed that he hasn't had a real clear cut chance and thus has not had an opportunity to add to his goal tally, but in my opinion his performances have been very good and he should retain his place.

I would be worried about Shelton's ability to get back and deffend if he were to play on the wing, i personally would like to see him used as an impact player from the bench for away games.

Perhaps we can risk playing him on the wing at home.

Definately has a big part to play this season, and although his positional sense is perhaps the worst i have seen from a united player (except bromby) his pace and skill scared their defence shitless last night which almost lead to him scoring when he rounded the keeper from a poor backpass.

i think stead has played well so far this season. Even if he hasn't scored for a few games. Was dissapointed to see him go off.

I would like to see stead play on the wing and but Shelton on the last man.
