Here's a little nod to the best player we have and our only constant goal threat.

Can't be easy doing all the running, hold up play, link up, creating and scoring of the goals on your own. He has no support, Sammon is barely a footballer, Done isn't as good as people make out, and none of the midfielders chip in.

Paul Coutts has been marvellous lately too I must say. Lovely link up from the two of them for the pen today, shame not much else happened in a positive sense though... If we didn't have them two we'd be very much fucked.

When Sharp was running the channel down the right in the second half Done hardly came across from the left to give him an option in the box. They clearly don't play well together but I'd have Sharp in every day of the week.

Done is a decent player to bring off the bench in the second half but does nothing as a starter. Sharp needs a Matt Smith type alongside him who can win balls and knock them down for him.

A player who should be playing above this level, he had a blip around November when his wife was due to give birth, understandable when your remember what happened in the past, but before that and since he has been head and shoulders above the rest, and I'm not saying that because he's a united fan it is because it's true.

Yeh have to admit for the past month or so our best player has been

Either Coutts or Sharp every match.

Coutts regularly shows great quality
and Sharp always shows massive effort with some quality too.

Both are out in front for player of the season but when you consider how much Coutts struggled with the speed of the game last season I'd vote for Coutts as our player of the season so far. He's been playing in a manner I expected Jose Baxter to reach as he is talented too.
