Brian Kidd is bidding to revive his career after being placed on the shortlist for the manager's job at Gillingham. Other candidates are believed to include Matin Allen and Graham Rix.

Been there and done that one mate

I've applied for numerous jobs in the past, Coventry, Rotherham, Aston Villa, and they've all said that Football Manager experience isn't good enough, hopefully applying for an assistant will get me a chance
