Big win that

Can't complain about the win but it seems the worse the opposition, the more we struggle, time we started stuffing these teams.

Two attempts on goal - second half.

83 - Baxter.
91 - Basham.

Did we sit back or did Colchester United have the midfield/forwards in their blue pockets?

Three points.
Enough.

Tough run of games in a short period, poor today but 3 points and move on! Week off now to recharge and rethink - need s run now to get in the mix

Robbed them but a win is a win.

Although we can't keep setting back like that against teams.

I'll take the result any day of the week but listening to the RS commentary always leaves me thinking we were 2nd best in performance again particularly the 2nd half.

Wage stealers and win stealers, well done to our brave warriors. Things should tick over quite nicely until a decent side turns up.
I remain positive.

Daylight robbery. We were mostly awful with the ball today, and after the equaliser Colchester looked far more likely to get a winner. At stages we were hanging on.

For all the "oh, Brayford and Coutts have such a wonderful understanding" I thought both were part of our troubles today – offered very little and what little they offered was at a pedestrian pace. The fact McEveley & Woolford offered more should be a distinct worry.

Sharp (who did generally well) and Done have bugger all understanding of a partnership, look like two individuals when paired together. I was amazed we didn't see JCR or Adams to offer more direct urgency on the ball too.

But who cares - delighted with the win.

It's all about results.
Performances don't matter, and will come the more positive results we get.

The last of 3 massive games on the road, and the perfect end.
Stay positive.

Clearly a game we had to take three points from anything less would have been unacceptable, they nearly managed to throw points away but got out of jail. Really can't be bothered analysing the second half performance only to say against a side who haven't won a league game in eleven it was poor. Harder games to come and we all need to pray BS remains fit.

Even us as fans don't believe fully in the them, but sooner or later the wins will get more comfortable and we will get more fluid. Just need to keep on winning ugly until it happens.

It's hard enough to listen too, let alone watch! I was decorating a bedroom which distracted me from the frustration listening was like watching paint dry to be honest! ;-) Total respect to those that went down there! They'll be happy back on the coach, as opposed to depressed at another drab performance! Hopefully we'll sign some better players and then performances like today will be a thing of the past?! Sadly I can't see us signing the volume of decent players we need, or the quality of two great players to make the difference. Its a shame JCR doesn't seem to currently get a look in though, he was are main attacking threat earlier this season.
