I saw them all, Silent, with the exception of the April 1973 game.

I'll never forget Alan Woodward's last-minute winner on Boxing Day the same year. If memory serves, John Connaughton kicked it upfield, Jim Holton misjudged it and it bounced over his head. Woody ran onto it, their keeper - still Stepney? - came out to the edge of the box and Woody slipped it past his right hand and it fair trickled into the net.

Here is the description of the goal in the papers

GOAL - v Manchester United (a) 26.12.73. Holton allowed Connaughton's clearance to bounce over his head but Woodward - the leading first division marksman – reacted quickly enough to seize the chance, running on to draw Stepney and flick the ball wide of him for the late winner via the inside of the post.

What names on our scoresheets: Woodward and Deane time and again. Currie, Hodges, Dearden. Fond memories. 5 for me I think.

No wonder Ferguson tried to sign Deane.

Four for me.

Are the 1972 and 1973 games anywhere on YouTube?
Afraid not as none of these were televised but I think Bobby Charlton's presentation before the Easter Monday match was shown in the news. I think ITN Source might have the footage

I've never seen any action from the Boxing Day game but the Easter Monday match was shown on the news and not just the presentation to Bobby Charlton. I distinctively recall seeing footage of Keith Eddy's goal and a magnificent one it was, too. Smashed into the top corner at the Scoreboard End from about 25 yards, it was a goal of which Charlton himself would have been proud.

Should be in ITN Source website but you have to pay a fee to see it
