What is amusing though is that to have searched my name on there, he must have blatantly ignored the blade one and conveniently picked up on some mascot that happens to be referencing a species of their nickname no doubt. I wish I hadn't used my nickname on here now.

I find Barney's boundless negativity about anything relating to Sheffield United extremely annoying, and his behaviour in the past has sometimes been poor. However, that is as nothing compared to the way he is being treated now. Surely it is not reasonable to endlessly create new threads targeting one particular poster? Talk about pot calling the kettle black. Does Foxy need to create a new sub-forum, in the same way as with Ched Evans, called the Rant About Barney forum, so that those who are interested can go there and enjoy themselves (in truth, Barney would probably find it quite entertaining too) and the rest of us can get on with talking about Sheffield United?

a) the thread is headed "Is this a wind up?" not "proof that barney is a pig" - I thought that someone might be having fun at your expense
b) my 2nd post stated that the message was in the daily "popular in your network" email that I receive, I didn't go frantically searching through Twatter as you suggest

I'm disappointed with myself to have taken the effort to do this but it's worth it if it's going to stop the accusations.

Youd think after 4 games unbeaten and only conceding one goal a proper blade could utter even the feeblest positive commment

I don't consider myself one to get involved in the (all too common) online arguments.... trading insults via a keyboard. I don't do Facefuck or Twatter. But I do come on this forum regularly and I enjoy reading the views, comments etc of fellow fans of the club I love. Occasionally, like now, I post a message. Normally I post in a light hearted fashion (although I love the Blades I've brought up a family, worked all my life and come to learn that football is just a game...... important to me but not the be all and end all that I once felt it was).

Barney, will you please, please, please FUCK RIGHT OFF. You are one boring, WUM. I, for one, am sick to the soles of my feet of seeing you clutter this forum with your utter anti-Sheffield United drivel. If you hate our club this much or if they bring so little joy to your life then just pack it in. I've watched United from 1st Division down to 4th and all stops in between. They've pissed me of and hurt me bad but that's all part of being a Blades fan. I still love 'em.
