Next season with no emergency window will make life difficult for teams with small budgets

I was thinking the same thing and that it might work to our advantage - provided we are not one of the clubs on a small budget next season if our overseas backer pulls out as has been rumoured.

actually not a lot. When the Prince came in I allowed myself to get excited, but there was always that nagging thought at the back of my mind that if any club could still screw up it would be us. In fact, despite the fact that I tried to be(and still am) one of pro Adkins optimists on here, I did also have that same nagging thought when he came in. It's a fine line between optimism and pessimism sometimes (unless you are naturally delusional or depressive)

I think full or half season loans will still be possible during the windows, I think it's just that you can't sign loans between windows like you can now. Could be wrong.

All bets on Next season's policies are off until we are 100% sure the Prince and his team are still going to be here, those hints that failure to win promotion will mean HRH slinging his hook are still out there.

I'm only aware of rumours, based on things I've read on this forum, rather than actual hints from the owners. There was one interview Adkins gave where he said summat along the lines of "we HAVE to go up this season" which may have led to some speculation perhaps.

I think it's a combination of things which have led some people to put two and two and belive they have come up with four but it may be five. As wincobank says there has been speculation based on various posts on this board and others, along with the Adkins statement of us "having" to win promotion this season

Also the dropping off of tweets from Jim and Sela Bhaki this season may have raised concerns that they may be loosening ties with the club.

Its more like people putting two and two together and getting five
Isnt the Prince contracted into putting in so much money per season over a length of time I would think 5 years is reasonable
I see no lack of interest from Phipps, Baki was always in the background anyways and who would want to tweet
about the negative results we have had so far this season only to get a load of abuse back

I'm all for patience in these things but I'd be amazed if he'd be tied into a contract to invest for 5 years if we didn't get out of League 1.

With regard to the Adkins statement of having to go up this season thats the remit hes been given so hes going to say that

is there a missing "if" between "season" and " thats" or are you ITK on this, cos I think we are all speculating.
