Can anyone see it? 2 years since the Prince landed at the Lane we are literally a few places higher in the league. Does anyone apart from BTL and WHF sincerely think we will finish top 2?

I take absolutely no delight in saying I predicted a defeat yesterday on Facebook, we are that predictable.

When Adkins was appointed a little part of me thought we would fucking storm the division, I've just heard his full interview, he sounded like Weir used to never mind Clough!

I am just thoroughly depressed with it all and can't see where it's all going to end.

I've heard that the Prince will pull out if we don't go up this season, can't blame him, and we've not heard from Mcabe since Adkins was appointed, there's only seemingly Phipps that says owt, well he doesn't he speaks in management speak ie bullshit.

Personally if all they've come to do is pay debt off every year I really don't see the point.

I really am fucking fed up :-(

Yes.. It's a locomotive coming the other way called 'Administration'

I still can't fathom out that with a club of our stature with good gates, sponsorship, t.v revenue from last year, player sales, all from a club in league one can be paying so much money out just to break even. I know there's things to payout but it really does strike me as what the fuck is going on at our club malarkey.

People are very keen to get rid of this shocking Board. Fact is, who is going to buy us and invest money in us?

KM has lost interest in us. The Prince soon will. We'll have a vacuum where we'll just get mounting debts until we explode.

wages - that is your answer.

We have gambled this season, on top of gambling (big time) under Clough.

Billy was on 10K at Leeds apparently - that's 500K per year on one player.

if that is true then he may as well save himself a few bob and pull the plug now, cos it's blatantly obvious to me we are going nowhere fast

Yes, wages will be the major contribution, so lets make sure we don't go renewing any contracts any time soon. We must have the most agents associated with any one club. You couldn't make it up could ya :)

If we don't go up this season the owners and the Board must stand up and take full responsibility. We've had plenty of Jim's bullshit, but poor direction, leadership and control. The fact is that nothing has changed. Blaming past and current managers will not get us out of this division. Getting committed owners will.

KM pulling the plug might be one of the best things that has ever happened to us.

It would effectively mean that we start again from nothing, there would be exhorbitant costs associated with hiring Bramall Lane and Shirecliffe from the Scarborough Property Group, so we would have to look for a groundshare, and some new training facilities, but that wouldn't be insurmountable.

We would probably end up starting again from League 2, and the best, and non-league at the worst but then it would be a new start and a new beginning.

At the minute Kevin McCabe has got us in a headlock, he can charge what he likes for using the facilities as he owns then through Scarborough Group, any debt in the club is owed to him and he can charge us whatever rate of interest he wishes. He has got us screwed either way.

You know what I'm getting so fucked off I'm thinking of setting up a group like BIFA did in the mid 90s to hold the board to account.

Before the prince arrived KM had declared that the club had to pay its own way. Up until then he had been subbing it to the tune of £1m per month and maybe a bit less for a while.

Weir was appointed on the basis of making the books balance and his tenure gave us a glimpse of what things would be like - because we still had overpaid players making the numbers up until their contracts ran out and their replacements would have been on peanuts. All that was declared publicly.

Then the prince arrived and basically has funded over 2 years of more failure at high costs. Maybe the other reality would have been less painful in a way!! No matter how much money is thrown at a problem it's only solutions which create success.

The thing in the 1990s, the McCabes were also BIFA members, but nowadays a fans group wouldn't be allowed anywhere near the club, yet alone be allowed to hold the board to account.

The sad postscript in all of this was that Kevin McCabe and Chums have caused more untold damage than Reg Brearly ever did.
